Waterfront Treehouse in a Magical Forest! — Hotel in Waller

Stayed in the treehouse and it was breathtaking! The view was amazing. There are alot of steps and climbing the ladder to the bedroom. Wasn't a problem for me but just a heads up. If you plan on cooking, The kitchenette was perfect. There are two burners and figured out not to lift the pan or the burner will turn off, I believe. Once I figured it out, cooking was a breeze. I stopped at my HEB before going. If you need specific seasonings or condiments, make sure to bring them. They do have the basics there. The bathtub on the top deck was an experience I have always wanted! Fortunately, there was no one at the cabin across the water so it was more privacy for me. There are trees and the water separating the cabin from the treehouse. This stay was so worth it. The personal kayak and hammock just added to the perfection of our stay. The decks are the perfect setting for a cup of coffee in the morning. It was windy during my stay so the trees sang the whole time. It was wonderful. Took a stroll around the property, the pool is very relaxing, the nearby RV-ers were friendly. I live in the city not too far and will definitely be using this as a getaway every so often. Was NOT at treehouse was at CONTAINER. The cabin was not cleaned well. My daughter was mid shower and the shower head came off you can tell it was previously broken and just put back i advised the host and they asked me if I could fix it nothing about my child's well being. The beds were dirty, kitchen has ants, ants in windowsill and only 1st floor bed. There were large black ants in the living room. Spider webs throughout my husband got as much as he could with the broom. Terrible wifi we could not watch 1 movie all the way through without losing service, buffering or TV just freezing and turning off after awhile. 1st floor bedroom sliding doors do not have a curtain option and people can see into the bedroom clearly all NIGHT.

Oh and to turn the stove or oven on you first have to press and hold the power button....

What a find on airbnb! Absolutely loved my stay here - it has everything you could need and the owners are super nice and helpful AND it has the most comfortable bed!! I wish the outside bath water was warmer but I imagine it’s blissful in the summer (I stayed in March) in the bath as the sun goes down listening to the animals and watching the stars pop out.
