So I like it here it’s quiet and peaceful the owners are in the process of renovating an old trailer park and working hard in doing so it has 2 sides the one is seasonal and definitely cool in the summer lots of people having fun which is like any campground in the summer! I work 6 days a week and am gone 14 hours a day but on the weekend I sit by the fire and listen to Kareoke from the seasonal side or the awesome dive bar on site! This place has an actual boat dock that leads out to the lake which I thought was cool the dock is about 20 feet from the bar plus there’s a second bar right across the street. My 10-year old and I were just passing through and needed a grassy spot for our tent. No electric or hookup needed. 8pm and getting dark. Some nice RV’ers I approached told me that they’ve seen tent camping there and to call the number on the office. I was quickly told, through text, they do not offer tent camping. Read moreI stayed here while I was working and was very close to the bar. The bar was only loud a few days a week, but it wasn't even that loud as far as bars go. My wife and I would eat at the bar usually a few days a week and really enjoyed the food and staff. The bartenders were all great and the patrons were great also. Tyler, the campground maintenance guy is great and was very helpful. We would definitely recommend a water filter as the water has a lot of iron in it but the filter helped a lot.
