My family and I (3 couples) recently stayed at The Cooper Inn B & B for a weekend stay and just loved it! It was perfect being we had the place to our selves to catch up with each other. There are no TV's but to be honest with you no one seemed to miss it. We were able to sit and talk and pretty much relax and enjoy each others company. There is free wi fi if you need it. Dane and Audrey were the nicest hosts and there place was so beautiful and cozy. The work Dane did in incorporating the part of the B & B for guests with the original farmhouse was amazing! Along with Audrey's decorating and personal touches just made you want to not want to leave the property...which by the way has a great view of the countryside by taking a short walk along the property. The breakfasts were so plentiful and delicious and the room we dinned made it even more pleasurable. There Irish Wolfhounds are so neat to see and if you want to interact with them you will realize how sweet they are for their majestic size. The town of Lititz is so nice to walk around. Plenty of shopping and dinning and the people are so friendly. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle and relax, this is a good place...
Read moreThe Cooper's Inn is a beautifully rustic farm-style property just a few minutes' drive from the heart of Lititz. The rooms are cosy and cute, and breakfast is hearty. In the small common area, there are a mini-fridge, mugs, wine glasses, bottled water, books, numerous brochures and maps of local attractions, and, in the morning, hot coffee and tea. Towels and a bar of soap are provided for showers, so be sure to bring shampoo, conditioner, etc. The owners breed and raise Irish wolfhounds for show, and you'll have the opportunity to see and pet these gentle giants if you want, though they are kept entirely separate from the guest areas, so you can avoid them completely if you prefer. (You may hear them barking occasionally.) The hostess loves to tell stories and will probably talk right through breakfast every day, which might be a plus or a minus depending on your...
Read moreWe found this hidden gem after we couldn't find a hotel or other more known B&Bs available or that didn't have outrageous prices because of the holiday weekend. And what a find it was! It's a lovely home that has been extended to add the B&B with Dane and Audrey taking great care in using antique tools so the build could resemble the original architecture and detailing. Located on several acres of rolling green land property has been in the family for 6 generations. The rooms are cozy country style with Queen size beds only no bathtubs but all with their own private bathrooms. Not a place for small children or rowdy groups/persons. No TV no radio no noise just nature and the creaking planks. The breakfasts were spectacular as much as possible is farm to table nothing is wasted. Absolutely lovely and recommended. If you are looking for serenity this is the...
