My family and I took a trip with all of our children (5 kids) to Kiesler's Campground. Talk about just an amazing experience! From the first moment we arrived, our greeting at the gate was like seeing a family member we haven't seen in a long time, but as if it were just yesterday we saw them! Warm, friendly, comfortable person to greet us upon arrival.
The check in was a smooth process with the five children (mind you, I mention this because anyone who has excited children knows that there is frustration that can occur with a multitude of children and a new environment). We were checked in and we were not only provided a map to locate our site, we were also provided an escort to show us how to get there, where we could park, and where the restrooms were.
Sadly, I had a final paper to write this weekend. Like many places, the Wi-fi access for those who may need to use it, was a bit tricky as a lot of kids take electronics now instead of camping. I could not connect, however, Steve, the owner, jumped right in to help me and drive me to another site to help connect to load my information to finish my paper for finals, and drove me back. It was really above and beyond, as this has happened to me before when traveling with family, and the last place I went, did not even effort to help me at all.
I wrote my paper in the comfort of the main office, watching my children have an awesome time in the swimming pool, with the water slide and fountain, along with participate in a treasure hunt. One of the many activities that Kiesler's provides during the stay. Even I got to participate in some of the treasure hunt with my kids, and some of the many other activities that Keisler's provides as activities at the campground.
My experience there was absolutely wonderful. From the charm of a community away from the rest of the world, snuggled in it's own atmosphere, which provides camping, activities from boating to mini-golf, to just the joy of security of clean restrooms, an overall child friendly facility, and a staff that just makes you feel like you belong, Kiesler's Campground is definitely a place to experience a home away from home feeling that I know we will make a part of our traveling experience for a very long time.
When you find something as wonderful as this experience, you just don't forget or let go that easily! I highly recommend the experience and knowing that whether you are breaking away, or still having to stay connected, Kiesler's is like family, and becomes a part of each family for their experience.
Go have fun there now and make sure to say hello to Steve, he is an amazing person to know - he will make sure he checks in on you and that you are enjoying your...
Read moreWe stayed at Kiesler's for the first time this past weekend (6/4-6/6). Our family is relatively new to camping having owned our camper for a year now, but we travel every weekend to different campgrounds so we've been many places. From the moment we pulled into the gate where we were greeted with a smiling face to the time we sadly had to check out we were WELL taken care of! We were escorted and shown our campsite by a very friendly gentleman, this place has CLEAN well kept grounds, constant activities for all ages, helpful smiling staff members that go out of their way to help you even if you don't need it or ask (they wouldn't even let us walk our trash to the dumpster, just pulled up and insisted on taking it off our hands), they welcome the kids and include them like family, our dogs were asked to shop with us in the camp store instead of waiting outside with my husband, there was power outages in the city of Waseca (not their problem) but they were sure to send an alert to all campers to check on their pets with the heat, our kids enjoyed fishing on their dock so we spent most of Saturday down there and before long their mascot came to visit us! We had the best time, and already have booked again. We love a great experience and a well ran business that clearly knows how to take care of their staff and customers! Thanks for a great family fun weekend Kiesler's!...
Read moreMy family has been enjoying the RV camping lifestyle since we won a Thor Motor Coach from Camping World's Marcus Lemonis. We've been across the country staying at campsites and have NEVER been to any place as wonderful as Kiesler's Campground & RV Resort. The owners are wonderful and so helpful. From the time we got there to the time we left, they were looking for ways to make our stay more enjoyable. They have a full slate of activities for kids to enjoy that are perfect and age appropriate. It's CLEAN (I'm a germ freak) and so when my kids were playing at the arcade or at one of their TWO parks, there was no litter, the playground equipment was either washed or wiped off and they had enough dumpsters to hold all the trash. Cleanliness is so important to me. But it was the extra special touch of Mike who made sure we backed in safely. He came back to check on us after dark to make sure we were okay. When our awning collapsed for whatever reason, he got out there with us in the cold and rain and helped us wrap it up and put it away until we could get it fixed so we could continue to enjoy our trip. We'll be going back to Kiesler's fifty-leven times this summer and I suggest you and your family check it out. I know you'll fall in love with it...
