My husband and I stayed here for a couple of nights after dropping off our kids at camp. From the moment we walked in, we could tell this establishment was special. Kember, the visionary woman behind it all, has thought of every detail. The overall aesthetic and attention to detail is impeccable. Our room (we stayed in The Farmer) was comfortable, charming, cozy, and beautifully appointed with carefully chosen furnishings and decor. The bath products smelled amazing, the bed was extremely comfortable, and even the towels were super plush and soft. Breakfast in the barn was delicious and the entire aesthetic of the space was gorgeous. On Day 2, Kember even put my favorite tea in the front of the tea tin assortment. Love the attention to detail! Beer and wine (with a great assortment including lots of local offerings) are available for purchase on the honor system from a refrigerator in the barn so we enjoyed beverages every evening while soaking in the quiet and relaxing environment. ||The entire inn has a quiet calmness combined with a rustic yet comfortable charm. From the friendly dogs roaming the property wanting a stick thrown or their ears scratched, to the gardens and multiple spaces with outdoor seating, you’re given every opportunity to sit back and relax. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. We had the pleasure of meeting Kember’s dad, Thor, as well as the chef, Brandon. Every single person we talked to was kind, interesting, and engaging. We can’t...

Read moreKember and her team at the Waterford Inne provided us with a magical bed and breakfast experience. We spent last weekend at the Inne while attending a wedding at a nearby venue. Kember and her staff were very attentive to every detail, from making our reservations and choosing the right rooms for our needs and budgets, to the bedding, linens and pillows which were most comfortable and clean. Each room is unique and well appointed. Their farm to table breakfasts which are included in the price of the room were high end quality and delicious. One day we had veggie frittatas, and another day apple crepes, alongside fresh apple cider each morning. Dinners in the barn, Tallelulah’s, was also a gourmet experience, consisting of quality home grown ingredients and hand crafted pizzas, salads, drinks and ice cream. All of the food is prepared on site with ingredients from their gardens, chickens and other locally sourced ingredients. The Inne is quaint and exudes rustic charm, hence you may hear some squeaking in the floorboards of the old homestead. We highly recommend the Inne when you want a unique experience in a relaxing atmosphere out in the country rather than a run of the mill chain experience. You cannot be disappointed and feel like writing a bad review unless you haven’t done your own homework and researched the place to make sure this is the experience you’re...
