We chose this hotel because we were seeing the Paulding Light down the road, and there isn't anything else nearby. I'm certain for casino patrons, this is a good property for the gaming experience.

Bar: The restaurant was closed when we arrived, so we had to eat in the bar area at the casino. We aren't impressed with the overall experience! The burrito had crunchy rice, lacked flavor, and the tortilla was chilled. The drinks are overpriced. Patrons have to order from the counter and NO substitutions are allowed. The firm answer to 'could you please add onions to the burrito or on the side' was NO.

Room: Room 140 has a super loud squeaky bathroom door that wakes everyone. The sink drips, the bathroom fan is tied only into the heat light, and the carpeting is tired, stained, and red. There isn't a mini refrigerator nor microwave. There are only 2 sets of towels for 2 queen beds, and only 2 pillows on each bed. I don't know what view the room has, because there is moisture between the double pane window.

Breakfast boasted 2 hot dishes, but one was donut holes. The other was buttered potatoes with eggs, and a few pieces of ham. Otherwise, bread for toast, oatmeal packets, yogurt, oranges, bananas, and juice.

The parking lot is being paved during our stay, so we had to park at the very opposite end of the building after unloading the vehicle. This means we had to carry our heavy luggage throughout the casino the next morning.

I expected much higher standards for a...

Hotel room was clean. No microwave or fridge, was told they were getting new ones but not in yet. All the hotel staff were friendly and pleasant. Casino was pretty decent, some older games but fun. We ate in the restaurant and dinner was very good. We were given two tickets for $3 off on "breakfast". Unlike the night before, our waitress was EXTREMELY unpleasant and "huffed" like any request we made was a major inconvenience for her. My sister had politely requested water with no ice as she has sensitive teeth...the huff. Sister asked for milk, brown sugar, toast, and raisins with her oatmeal. She was brought a half juice glass of milk with a large bowl of oatmeal and no spoon. Sister had to request more milk...huff. There were no spoons in the tableware. I gave my sister the spoon that came with my tea to avoid having to make more requests. There was no jelly or jam on the table or brought with my meal, so I had to ask for some...again, the huff. When we went to pay, we were told that only one coupon could be used with breakfast. I said our waitress did not offer separate checks. AFTER it was split, we were told that oatmeal was not considered breakfast...wtf. I also complained a bit about waitress Christine...found out she was manager...and unhappy about having to fill in on Memorial Day weekend. This woman is a very poor example for the people she manages...huff. I left a dollar tip but if I had known she was the manager, I would have...

This place is utterly disgusting. Every room smells like smoke whether you’re in a nonsmoking room or not. Signs all over state the hotel is remodeled. I saw no such thing. Our room was absolutely disgusting. I can not believe they charge over $100 a night. Paper thin pillows and towels. Loose worn carpet that was tripped on. Stains on the walls. Holes in the walls. Filth all over the floors and walls. Tube TV. Broken ripped chairs in the room. Dirty stained mattresses. Sheets so worn they fell off the corners of the bed constantly. Cigarette burns in all the blankets and shower curtains. Cigarette burns on the toilet and bath tub. Our heat was off and the windows were open in 11 degree weather and the room was incredibly hot. ||Our key cards were shut off after the first of 2 nights. ||The restaurant is a joke. Over priced disgusting food. Also tried the snack bar in the casino. After waiting 24 minutes for a club sandwich I inquired as to where it was. At the 30 minute mark I was told the order was never placed and would be put in next. I had to fight just to get a full refund. I wanted nothing more from this dump. Nobody that works here seems to care. ||It’s a pretty good business plan they have here. It’s the only place for miles, so who cares if it’s decent or not. Nobody has the choice to go elsewhere. ||I’ve stayed in motel 6’s for $30 a night that were 100 times better...
