Lakeshore Motel — Hotel in Waverly

This is a gem! The motel has only 5 rooms and sits right on the lake. The sweet lady who lives in the attached home and runs the place is full of gab and loves to talk about her grandchildren and show pictures of all the giant fish caught from the dock. The lawn and flower beds are very well taken care of. The rooms are standard size, but the bathrooms are tiny. The room had a fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. My room had real furniture, not fast fab stuff you normally find in small motels. Each room has a front door from parking, and a rear door to the lake and dock area. The back yard leading to the lake offers a bench near the rear door, a swinging bench facing the water and a dock with chairs. There are windows on the front and back of the room. Location is excellent! Right on the lake. These are pretty small rooms and as a family of 6 we had 3 rooms and with older/adult kids it was still a tight fit. Parking just park in front of room at an angle. Don't overdo the hot water or no one else will have any...Oops. Clean nice spaces with a small coffee maker and coffee provided. We loved it here. We booked it to visit some old friends nearby, and we are so glad that we did! The owners are lovely and pleasant. The rooms were clean, well-furnished, and relaxing. The kitchenette had a hot plate ready to use, which most places require that you ask. The access to the large lawn and lake in the back was perfect.
