We stayed in the AirBrb that the owners have that is across the street from the hotel. It was amazing!!I have never stayed in an Airbnb that was as nice. The owners were so nice and personable.
When you pulled into the driveway you are met with several areas to sit outdoors. There is full outside kitchen with big screen tv for groups to watch football or whatever you would like. There was a gas fire pit AND a separate gas outdoor fireplace with its own sitting area and then two additional outdoor areas with a pergola.
When you walk into the bottom floor of the two story apartment you immediately notice that the whole front wall is windows and glass French doors so that it can be open to the outside sitting areas. The room is gorgeous with herringbone walls and ceilings in light grey with lovely decor and comfortable couches. There is also a half bath with a laundry room on the bottom floor.
When you go up the stairs there is a kitchen with island that has the stove and seats two and a dining room table that seats four. There is a balcony off the kitchen and it’s equipped with almost everything you can think of including a coffee maker.
Off the dining room is a set of French doors that open to the bedroom that is beautiful, there is a corner fireplace tv stand, a dresser with hidden Mickeys in it and a velvet blue chair. The king size bed was nothing less than luxurious and there were chargers for your phone, watch and AirPods as well as built in scones for reading.
The main bath was amazing with a huge glass shower with a bench inside to sit on and a whirlpool tub that fits two. They also provide extra fluffy towels and wash clothes as well as the small shampoo and conditioner and body lotion like you would find in a regular hotel.
All in all, this is the ONLY place I would want to stay at in Wayne, Wv and it’s truly the best Airbnb my husband I have ever stayed at around the country. Although we were there to settle my mom’s things after she passed on Feb. 7th, the Rameys went out of their way to show kindness and really touched our hearts. A lovely Airbnb and a lovely couple made this bad situation so much easier. 10...
Read moreI used to stay in that motel once a year for an event we attended every year. I was overall satisfied with the quality for the money. Last time I stayed there, I woke up bitten by some insects (fleas most likely) and had a severe allergic reaction and got typhus like symptoms: fever, body aches and nausea. Have to undergo a steroid treatment! The most frustrating thing was that I contacted the manager of the motel, LIsa, asking for help to let me know what was the insect which bit me as it would have helped and speed up the course of treatment. She never called back. I called back again after unpleasant exchanges, she told me they found nothing in the room and she thought I was bit by mosquitoes because I opened the door (I didn't of course, staying with the child for safety reasons we lock the doors), man who called himself Jack took the phone from Lisa. I won't go to the details of the profanity of the conversation but he was rude, called me names, talked disrespectfully mocking me. Then he said that his motel had spotless reputation and nobody ever complained in 27 years. It's really difficult to believe because on 09/29/18 we came to the motel with 2 other families. Two of them asked to be moved to different rooms because their "non-smoking" room smelt like someone just smoked in it. One family was placed in a room with a non-working air-conditioner, so they asked to be moved too. Three complaints in just one day! Not only I had to go through painful medical experience, I had to go through probably the most rude Customer Service encounter in my life! Be aware! Check everything before you lay in their beds and forbid God you will have to deal with them if you...
