Very Unprofessional customer service. They are great, until you have an issue. After that, you will be disrespected beyond belief. Please read the responses from this business, whenever someone had an issue. No accountability or empathy. Please I urge anyone before booking here, READ the low score review responses. They also claim to be a disabled Veteran, by claiming DAV. DAV however is a paid memebership. This do not not qualify you as a Disabled Vet. From an actual combat disabled Vet, that was the MOST disrespectful thing in this all. We had an power outage, that forced us to leave in the middle of the night. By no means, is the outage their fault. But their reaction to the issue, was why I will never stay here again. The claim to offer my wife a discount, is a COMPLETE lie. The truth is, they stated they are "willing to consider" waiving a cleaning fee, if we choose to stay here again. The outrage I have right now, for ANYONE to take that tag of Disabled Vet, is sickening. I would love to speak with the person who is responding to everyone here. Again DAV is an orginization, that helps Disabled Vets, through paid membership. The money from those memberships are used to support Disabled Vets. If I am accusng them of stealing Valor, i am willing to edit this and apologize. But just the verbiage alone, was a red flag, that this was not true. If any of you value Vets, and great customer service...DO NOT stay here. Again, I am willing to edit this and apologize if I am wrong. But I found zero proof that this is a Vet owned business. Because there is NO WAY, i would blast them or even post this. I would talk to them personally and express my issues and leave...

Me and my husband traveled from Florida and stayed in Racoons Run #5 for our late honeymoon for almost 5 days,I must say from the moment we arrived the sound of Mountain water rushing next to the cabin was so beautiful and the views of the mountain tops were jaw dropping..the smell in the air was sweet almost , smelled really good an so cozy and I honestly loved opening the windows to feel the cool air and hear the mountain water,birds,crickets,nature... Oh my goodness, I fell in love with this town and cabin♥️ the town is so cute and everybody seemed so friendly 😊, we took walks and really enjoyed the peace and nature, beautiful place. I highly recommend this place and we plan to return in the winter when we can.I actually had tears when I left because I fell in love with everything.. I added some photos to the review page but the photos do not do it justice it is more amazing in person...I am not exaggerating at all with anything that I have said it really is a lot better than how I could describe... I would live in this cabin if it was possible .Thank you and we definitely will refer this place to other people...I hope that my review will help bring you more business because you deserve it this place is really...

Definitely don’t recommend cabin #11. We don’t even have a kitchen table. Save your money and spend it on a nicer place! We won’t be coming back here for sure!! It’s not good at all for the price. In the pictures it was bigger and offered another little couch and small kitchen table. Basically I can’t even sit beside my husband. What a terrible two nights we will be experiencing here. I don’t even typically leave reviews but I thought this was appropriate. Edit to my review: after staying here for the night we decided that it’s nice. We would like to try a bigger unit next time though. The email stated it was a smaller unit and a room used for storage. It just needs updated pictures or an email stating that 1/3 of the unit is blocked off, the small kitchen table and one of the couches was removed. The property is nice and quiet! The porch was also nice and big! Just beware that cabin #11 doesn’t quiet work well with two medium size dogs that think...

Me and the wife stay at the bat cave cabin number 11. It's a nice quiet place to stay. The cabin was real nice but here is the problem with my stay. The floor was so dirty that it haven't been clean what seem to be a year. No wax was on it so your feet got dirty and we had to wash them before we went to bed. The shower was smaller than a travel trailer. The filter for the heater was so dirty I don't know how it works right, but we didn't have to use it. wi-fi works good, tv great. Would stay again if it was cleaned up a bit. Beautiful place and working on the firepit to be enjoy.

This place is super cozy. The cabin had 3 queen beds, a master and 2 up in the loft area. The loft area has low clearance so it's a great place for kids because of the low ceiling - there is also a small TV up there. The kitchen had basic utilities available. If you are interested in making BBQ or grilling anything there are grills available. The location allows a great view of the stars and mountains surrounding it. If you are staying here for a long period of time you might want to bring toilet paper because the cabin only provides one roll.

We stayed in one of the Yurts. Perfect. Comfortable, beautiful interior and exterior. Everything you need for your stay. You had that freedom feeling that camping provides. You can hear the bullfrogs and crickets. We were awaken to the sound of a elk buggling. This will be my favorite place to stay in Maggie Valley
