We stayed at Territory Route 66 RV Park in Hinton, Oklahoma from October 29 to November 26, 2023. It is recommended that you go ahead and pull directly into your site and then check-in, so you don’t have to circle back around to park.
The staff was friendly and helpful, ensuring that our needs were met promptly. Their commitment to guest satisfaction was evident in every interaction, creating a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere throughout our stay.
We were in site 14, a level spacious gravel pull-through with full hook-ups, a picnic table, with a fire pit upon our request, and well-groomed grass on both sides, that added to the overall charm of the site and gave a sense of privacy between us and our neighbors. This thoughtful layout not only accommodated our 5th wheel but also provided ample space for our truck to be parked in front of our 5th wheel and our car behind.
This cozy park has decent amenities to help make your stay comfortable. A clean restroom, shower, coin laundry facilities, several trash bins throughout the park, making it easy to throw your trash away without having to walk very far.
The park is pet friendly, while there isn't a specific enclosed area for pets, there is ample space for delightful walks and exploration. As a safety precaution, they do ask that you keep them on a leash, as the park is situated near a main road with fast-moving traffic.
The location of the RV park is conveniently situated along the historic Route 66, it provided easy access to nearby attractions and added a nostalgic touch to our journey. There are a couple of casinos and restaurants close by, that have good food and service, and a couple of well-stocked stores that have everything to help make your stay more comfortable.
One unique experience we encountered during our stay was the sight of adorable cows freely roaming without fences right next to the park, contributing to the overall country charm of the surroundings.
If you are going to be visiting the Hinton area and looking to stay at a small country charm RV park with beautiful sunsets, I would recommend...

It was an easy off the I-40. And far enough away that you couldn't hear the traffic.
The owner Danny is amazing. I can see why he has so many repeat guests. And you should ask Danny how you can save 50% at his campground and over a thousand more across the country. It's a great deal!
All the sites are full hook up with 30/50 amp service. And those of you with big rigs and a tow behind won't even have to disconnect. That's how long the sites are! They have a picnic table and spots for fires. He does have some tent sites as well for you tent dwellers.
There is a building with the toilets and showers that are always super clean.
My wife did laundry and always cleans out the machines first. She couldn't believe how clean the machines are.
We had an issue with our motorhome and although they were all booked up for the next night, Danny was able to work something out for us. We were so appreciative.
I read a review stating they don't have fire rings... that's not true at all. They do.
The owners obviously take great pride in this campground and it shows. We will definitely stay again when we are passing through!
For those of you who only gave a 4 star rating, explain why. With the exception of the fire ring review, none of you explain why. It's not fair to the owners who are clearly shooting...

We neglected to put the word “Territory” Route 66 RV Park in our GPS but a quick call to Danny got us back on track and we were soon greeted by Danny himself who got us tucked into a nice little spot.
The park is super clean, the sites are spacious, and pride of ownership apparent. Bath and laundry are secure 24/7 and well maintained. The owner, Danny, is there in the morning and evening to check RV,s in and out, and available by phone at other times. We were there for 3 nights and felt absolutely safe and well cared for.
But, that is not what makes this place unique. The lights come on in the evening, You stroll through the park after dinner, you feel the ambiance, the usual fellow travelers swapping stories over a glass of wine and Danny is an easy listen to, when you ask about his old Ford trucks.
BUT, even that is not the best part. The best part, is, these people treat you like family. On our day of departure, we ventured outside and on the hood of our car was a picnic basket full of fun, useful, and interesting things made by Carol, Dannys wife. Now, I can’t promise you’ll get a basket, but I can promise you will never meet nicer people. Thanks Danny & Carol for making our...
