I came to Trinity Lake mid-September on my way home after blowing a front fork seal on my motorcycle ride. It was mid afternoon when I decided to pull off down to the marina area and take a break, check out what the lake looked like, and then move on down the road. I stopped at the office and while talking to the lady I asked about the cabins and she said they were running low rates on everything due to the time of year. I ended up renting a cabin and a boat to go check out the lake. The cabin was $135 with tax and the boat was only $115 I think for a few hours on the water and then the cost of whatever fuel used. Cabin was small and nice, stocked with all kitchen ware and bathroom supplies, good view through the trees at the water. The boat was an older Bayliner but had a new 4 stroke engine and moved along at 35 mph. It was a great break from riding 1500 miles with a tank slapping bike.

We had an absolute BLAST at Trinity Lake Resorts!! The staff was very friendly, accommodating, laid back ... a pleasure to deal with. The FUN we had was enough to make us extend our stay beyond our original plans, and then we still didn't want to leave! The lake is so beautiful, the water so pure and clean .. the views - OUTSTANDING! We rented a boat with a pull behind raft, a wakeboard, a jet ski, and it was AWESOME! We stayed in one of their cabins and we were actually surprised by how big it was. I was expecting something small and do-able, but it was big, comfy, and cozy, after a long day on the water; had a great deck to wake up to and a great place to relax with a few beers and a good bbq in the evenings. We can't WAIT to head back and play on this gorgeous lake again!! Thank you, Trinity Lake Resorts for doing what you do!!

This place has always been a favorite for my friends and I. The recent renovations by the new owners are absolutely stunning and the cabins make you feel right at home. The staff is so kind and accommodating. I highly recommend this resort for all your summer needs!

We reserved a 2-person cabin at Cedar Stock campground which is a short walking distance to the main marina below. We chose this spot because we own a boat and wanted to keep it in the marina. Unfortunately, I procrastinated in reserving a slip and discovered they were all taken when we arrived. So be sure and reserve a slip when you make a reservation so you don't have to pull your boat out every night if you don't have to. It was the 4th of July week, so that is the main reason they were all booked up. ||||The accommodation itself I would describe as more of a mobile home feel. It is a free standing building and It was one of about 8 small units located behind the main office at Cedar Stock. The room is a bit dated but that wasn't rellevent as long as it was clean and it was. It was a basic room with bath/shower, small kitchen and sleeping area with 2 full size beds. Everything was clean and the room came equipped with a few kitchen items, but was all we needed. Coffee maker and filters were provided as well. The fridge was nice and roomy. Beds were pretty comfy but I brought an extra down comforter on top and it was perfect. As a seasoned tent camper, this was a nice option. I can't say enough about how great the air conditioner worked! Very important since the weather was extremely hot as it should be when your on the lake and in the water all day, but in the evening it was refreshing to relax in a cool room. There is a picnic table and BBQ in the back with room for maybe 4-6 people. We were able to see a portion of the lake through the trees. Very pleasant! ||||I just want to say the staff couldn't have been friendlier and willing to help out when needed. I'm talking from the reservation desk, to the marina store to the staff on the premises keeping everything clean and orderly. Be aware you need to drive down to the marina store and get ice for coolers when needed. There isn't any near the room. We had a problem with our boat and the marina mechanic on duty walked up to our boat in the parking lot to diagnose our problem, fix it and then was nice enough to waive a fee! This on a 4th of July!! Unheard of! We had nothing but good service and a fantastic experience during our 4 night visit. I highly recommend this campground. There are other campgrounds nearby but I was glad we chose this one!||||There were only a few remarks I'd like to share that could use improvements or at least you should be aware of: the shower is pretty small and if your over 5 ft. it's a bit of a challenge. Hopefully they upgrade the shower head in that unit (#6) so it actually can adjust up or sideways. And lastly, the dock where you put your boat in at this marina is super narrow and since many families are there to rent houseboats, the wait can be really long as guests unload their heaps of belongings from their vehicles backed next to the dock, plugging up the 1 and only boat lane. Parking is crowded and it's a challenge during high peak times to find a parking place close-by with your trailer. if you need to put your boat in and out I highly suggest using the Clark Springs dock down the road. It's roomy with LOTS of parking and a set-up...

For 11 years I have been coming to Trinity Lake Resorts & Marina for a scrapbook retreat! I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to do any kind of retreat. The lodge/work area is large and suitable for many people. We have seen some changes in staff over the last 11 years, but all of them have been amazing to work with. We are always treated like their own and when we need anything, they are more than willing to help. My ladies can't wait to return every year!||||When I read some of these reviews, I was very disappointed in them because one thing you must keep in mind...this place is rustic and the cabins fit perfect in this setting. Because they are out in the woody area, you do find occasional critters or bugs, leaves and dirt on the decks, etc.... SO kill the bugs and sweep the deck! It's to be expected in cabins like this! For the last 8 years I have worked very closely with Shannon, the GM and she is awesome and very accomodating. Anytime I need something she makes sure it gets done. This year she even cooked for us because they are without a cook right now. Who does that? I have never found anyone at the Resort difficult to work with!||||My ladies can't wait for next year and the years to follow! I tried changing the location one year to make it a little closer to home and none of them wanted to even think about staying any place else. It is beautiful and so relaxing!||||Just keep in mind for future reference....it's beautiful, relaxing, rustic and a great get-a-way! Just what you should expect in a place like this.......I would stay some place like this over a 5 Star Hotel anyday! But to each his own....||||I highly recommend this to anyone that wants this kind...

My sister got married here on September 8th on the deck, it was a gorgeous wedding. The problem was with the General Manager. We had been planning this wedding for over a year with this facility and everytime we talked to them something changed. We were quoted different prices, different information about the bar, different information about the noise curfew - almost everytime we talked to them it was something else. It got to the point that I was taking notes and when that wasn't good enough for her I started faxing so that I would have the information in writing - it still changed. We finally asked for a contract, after a couple of revisions it was finally correct. I called her on things everytime which would frustrate her and me both, at one point she even refused to talk to me when they were charging us the wrong rate on our cabins - not very professional.||||If it wasn't for Melissa at the front desk, and Shannon the chef, our experience would've been a complete nightmare. These two went out of their way to make up for all the mess that the General Manager (another Shannon) created.||||All in all it's a beautiful place to get married, but you better have someone (hopefully other than the bride) to keep track of all of the conversations that you have so that you get what...
