I really enjoyed that when we got to the hotel and entered our rooms the fresh scent instantly hit us and the rooms are very spacious and clean they offer a comfortable bed as well as a mini fridge the bathrooms are also spacious the hotel offers fresh clean towels it's on the outskirts of very and I mean very small town so it's like secluded but not too excluded the surrounding towns are like 20-30 minutes away which isn't bad at all also it's quiet and there isn't any traffic in and out at the hotel even though it's close to the interstate which is great for people who need a rest just to get back on the road again also the rooms have two doors you can park right outside your room and bring your belongings in from the outside for all you outdoor hotel people and for all the indoor hotel people you can bring your stuff in through the hallway and into your room the hotel rooms are also very spacious and if you staying for long periods of time rather its for work or whatever the case maybe I would suggest getting a plastic dresser because although the rooms are very spacious they dont offer a dresser but you also wouldn't be cramped or anything either also the hotel very accommodating to anyone's needs rather your an indoor hotel person an outdoor hotel person its also handicapped accessible not to mention its also pet friendly and for all the coffee lovers they don't have coffee machines in the rooms but there is a convenience store right next door so you could either drive over there or for all the people who like to walk you can also walk to the store and if you need a tire or an oil change there is a tire and service shop that is also within walking distance its right because the store I also like the view of nature when I open the front door and look outside so its great for nature lovers as well I really enjoyed the fact that when I went to sleep this was the first hotel I felt safe at knowing my vehicle wasn't going to get broken into and my stuff wasn't going to go missing which definitely brought me relief and I've been to a lot of hotels and motels and never felt this safe before
Side note the hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating they also accept cash/debit cards which is great because some hotels in the surrounding towns only accept card payments so if your a cash person this would also be a good hotel...
Read moreIt was like a scene from the commercial..."Help! I Have a flat tiiiiirrrrre!" For 30 miles we hobbled along just trying to make it to the 24 hour shop arriving at 1 AM only to be told that the tire was not repairable and a tow wasn't available until morning. Our ONLY option, Motel 6. Check in was fast and easy...and only $60 for the three of us...our expectations we incredibly low, apprehension was incredibly high at this price point. When we arrived at our room, Room 111, it was white glove clean. Not a spec on the floor, beds made with clean sheets and bedding, and the surfaces of the room must have been freshly dusted. Nope, we did not sleep on Temperpedic ultra loft adjustable bed, but it was sufficient for a one night stay. And yes, there were the usual 240 grit towels that you'd expect, but they were bright white and clean. You will need to bring your own shampoo and there is no hair dryer, unless you turn up the window heating unit and bend over (yes, I did that!), but for the price, in the middle of no where, with few other options available, you really can't go wrong. On a side note, there is nothing to eat anywhere near this location other than a quickie mart/gas station, so come on a full belly or be prepared to eat craptastic, pre-packaged offerings from the...
Read moreHotel was right off interstate. Only thing nearby was a small gas station and an area for truckers to park for night. Older hotel. We arrived late, about 11pm. 5 vehicles in parking lot that was not well lit. Our first room had blood on the comforter. Wish I'd taken pictures but didn't think about it at the time. Not small spots, very visible. Rooms look remodeled by IKEA very bare. We requested a new room and they switched us. Floors in both rooms gritty like they hadn't been swept or mopped. The pillows in this room were wadded up in little balls in the cases. Bed looked cleaner. Still a black smudge of something on this comforter. The worst part was that we could hear people having sex really loudly in the hallway and through the walls. We left because we didn't feel comfortable with what kind of motel this was if you catch my drift. And because if a maid could clearly see blood in a comforter and say "eh, good enough" they may not be cleaning any of the rooms after their "guests " . Needless to say we left after 20 minutes and there were only 2 cars there...
