Yesteryears Motel — Hotel in Wellington

I didn’t even stay I told them I would be an early check in and I was assured the room would be open I made the reservation about 35 hours ago and I tried to cancel because the staff would not let me check in cause it was occupied and when I did they told be they were charging me for the whole night due to a 48 hour policy when the reservation wasn’t even made 48 hours ago! After a long day of driving (which involved doing a complete 180 on an icy highway while pulling an Airstream) it was awesome to find The Yesteryears Motel. We were a bit on the shaken side and the owner / manager on site was a true Godsend as she made sure we were taken care of. The rooms were comfortable and warm. We would gladly stay here again. I had stayed for fourth of July weekend. They kept giving me the run round for different prices for a two day stay n ended up paying $175 for 2 days. Your not allowed to cook in the room or they will charge you. Only thing acceptable was microwave food. There was no coffee pot to make any coffee. There was no extra traah bags in trash can.
