Went Aug 5th 2016. Pulled up before 11am with 9 adults and 9 children we were able to get 2 sites but we had 2 more adults coming so we wanted a 3rd site. As we waited there was a male and female working and they (mostly her) where telling us that we had to wait right up by the building (in the sun) and then kept saying they thought nothing would become available when finally we see that someone is packing up and we go ask if they are leaving and they say yes, we let the employees know and they said they will go ask so they do. When they return they say that there is a sewer issue close to that site and that they will have to close it. We begged if we could please stay there just use the site for sleePing and they said no then i asked if we could stay with our friends since we had so many kids we could make it work and they said no because they had this sewage problem due to too many people using their restrooms. At this point i felt that they were making up Any excuse to get us out of there because they could clearly see that we had 2 infants in diapers and 2 todlers in diapers that would not be using their toilets! It is now 1:30pm and They said we could come back the next day and get in line again "line starts at 6:30 :)" Not once did i stutter and not once did i say i did not understand, i said ok i will find somewhere to go they suggested sleeping in the walmart parking lot. I sat with my friends trying to find somewhere but everything was booked for the night hotels, campsites, everything booked. At this point it is close to 2pm and they come over agaIn With the maintenance guy who speaks Spanish to ask me in Spanish how many people are at the site, i said i understood perfectly well when they kicked me out and we are not staying. We drive off and luckily find a walk up site elsewhere we unload or truck into 2 buggies and walk forever in the sun put up 2 tents and then get a call from our friends saying that those employees left and new ones arrived and said the site was not closed and we could have it!!!! Uuugh!!!! We pack up tents load our stuff in buggies call for help cause we had no strength left and head back. This is The worst way to treat people i used to go here every year with my family and recommend this place to friends and family, never had an issue, now this will be the place i avoid going to and tell...

We stayed here last year and i would have given it a 4 star then. We came back this year with family and left 2 days early being quite disappointed. This rv park is nicely spaced with campsites not being too crowded together but it is always full. It is frusterating that you can not make any sort of reservations. You never know for sure if you will have a place to stay when you get there. They "patrol" the park regularly ready to enforce the slightest of rules. We have yet to experience a night stay without one enforcement or another. Last year we were playing ball with our lab and were told they HAVE to be on a leash at all times. Our dogs are very well behaved and on a leash when not playing. It was frusterating to see smaller dogs running loose with no repremand but we tied up the dogs nonetheless. Another instance was while setting up our tent we were instructed to keep the tent inside the outlined dirt box. We had not even completed assembly by which we needed to move the tent to the level ground anyway. We felt like we could not fully enjoy our stay with walking and driving patrol wandering about all the time looking for activities to correct. The combination of the windy weather, fully booked park, loud 24/7 highway, and steep prices we decided to leave early. To end on a high note, their strict enforcement makes for a beautiful park and draws a calm family orientated crowd. I also like that they have no alcohol on the premises and nice paved lots. Maybe in the future they will make reservations available to make the journey worth it and maybe they can lessen their abrupt approach to the...

Just 10 minutes outside of Lake Chelan, this is a really good (and inexpensive) RV spot. Has 30/50 amp services and water at each site. Water pressure wasn’t crazy high when we went in early Fall. We reserved ahead and glad we did.

Very picturesque location, that’s also fairly quiet. Sites are all paved and width is comfortable enough to back in (most are back in sites). But you will be walking on grass (which is well watered so mostly always damp) to get in and out if your motorhome, fifth wheel or a trailer. This is a beautifully maintained county park and you will have lots of space between yourself and your neighbor.

Trees throughout the park offers excellent shade and while there isn’t a dedicated walking path within the park, we didn’t experience any difficulty walking on campground lane.

RV dump drain itself needs some work, the gentleman before us had reported abit of back spray from the dump drain. Luckily didn’t experience any issues but the drain was displacing a lot of air outwards as we dumped - we opened our RV valves slowly. Dump site was clean and had a non potable water hose for cleaning things out. There is only 1 dump site.

Also we enjoyed taking the less traveled road to Chelan Falls which continues into Chelan itself. You don’t need a 4x4 or SUV to do the fairly flat and well groomed gravel road - a car will do.

Overall,...

Beautiful park with clean bathrooms, luscious green lawn and well maintained campsites. Boat launch with free parking included with camp fees on site for quick access to the Columbia. First come, first serve camping. It can be hard to make plans, your stay is not guaranteed and getting a place in line for the next available opening can be very stressful- especially if the Ranger on duty doesn't take good control of the line of potential campers and remain consistent with the rules being enforced. This was the only downfall to this location though. FYI- no alcohol allowed. (Keep it in a solo cup)

Yesterday we were with my husband enjoying this beautiful park, we marveled at the maintenance, cleanliness and tranquility, good accessibility to get there, the parking and all the truth that we really enjoyed the place, the sun, sand and water, 100% Recommended over everything for the family, we hope to return next summer to this beautiful place, thanks again for the dedication of the staff to have it as it is 👌☀️

Very nice campground, very popular, since my first post the campground has totally changed their policies and now RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED. This is a good thing as it eliminates the saving of campsites. Some waterfront improvements have also been made with more docks located near campsites. As always the park is immaculate. This is definitely one of our favorite campgrounds or should I say glampgrounds.
