My husband & I have stayed at over 50 Bed and Breakfasts over the last 20 years . The Brownstone Colonial Inn certainly rates in the top 5 of our list . As you approach the property, you can see a beautifully manicured lawn & landscape... There is an area where there is a man made waterfall with a couple of comfortable chairs where you can sit back and relax. We were met by Brenda & from the minute you meet her, you can tell that she is happy to greet & host you ... warm, kind & friendly . We were offered lemonade & chocolate chip cookies upon our arrival - doesn't get much better than this ! We found out that Mark is the chocolate chip cookie baker ... Our room was Grandpa's Room on the first floor of the inn... It gave us ample space to relax & the in-room shower was fabulous with jets that can give you a wonderful massage ... Breakfasts were delightful ... the food as well as the conversation . Breakfast is made & served in the kitchen area & Brenda & Mark are available to chat . We had a delightful visit from the minute that we stepped on the property ... If you like antiques, there are many shops in the area ... Plenty to do in this area and the Brownstone Colonial Inn is truly a wonderful...

Dear Brenda and Mark,Rick and I want to thank you both for making our stay, at your beautiful Brownstone home, a wonderful and Unforgettable experience. During our 5-day stay, you made us feel at home the minute we entered your doors. Our room was exceptionally clean, very cozy, and beautifully maintained. We love the character of your whole property especially the fireplace in the kitchen, and molly your adorable dog. The best part of it all,was both of you.Brenda from your delicious homemade cooking to Mark's homemade chocolate chip cookies were fantastic. We enjoyed our conversations, prayer in the morning before breakfast, and I love the way you interacted with your guests, your husband and beautiful grandson.Thank you for being a super host! Your warmth and Hospitality made Rick and I feel like a part of your family. We appreciate the both of you, and thank God for the gift of true friends!we highly recommend the Brownstone Colonial Inn. Rick and I can't wait to return for another stay. God bless you...

I had such a wonderful stay at the Brownstone Colonial Inn! Upon arrival, all of my four children said that it was the most beautiful place they had ever seen. (We are not from the area!) Even though only two of us stayed there (we were in town for a family reunion and my older kids camped), all of my kids loved exploring the frog pond, swinging one the swing, and playing with the cat outside. The food was incredible, and Brenda went out of her way to make sure that my son and I, who are on a gluten-free diet, had wonderful food with good options. Brenda's thoughtfulness and attention to detail makes you feel right at home and like a pampered guest at the same time. She showed such interest in every person who came, regardless of their background. I normally have trouble sleeping in hotels. The bed was very clean, but not overly starchy and antiseptic like most hotel rooms. I was actually able to sleep! We loved our stay and we look forward...

Beautiful location, amazing house, delicious breakfasts and perfect hosts! I can't rave enough about this B&B....Brenda was so charming from the moment we arrived and you can tell she and Mark take great pride in the home. The decor was beautiful and it may have been the cleanest place I've ever stayed! Even with Covid, they made it cozy, with breakfast delivered to the rooms and no-contact, yet friendly, clean up. Location is perfect if you're looking to go antiquing, as it's minutes away from Adamstown. I definitely recommend staying here!

This is such a nice place. Brenda and Mark are the best hosts ever, and run the most welcoming, delightful bed and breakfast around. They are great at recommending activities in the area, cook outrageous breakfast, and are totally accommodating. I knocked off a star because the bed is like a rock. And the pillow is like a rock. If you dig hard beds that might not be an issue, but I'm a princess. I'd still recommend staying here, though. Oh! And Molly is the coolest bed and breakfast dog ever.
