Best Western Philadelphia South - West Deptford Inn — Hotel in West Deptford Township

Love this hotel, great staff, especially Mike the manager, very helpful and friendly, easy to build a rapport with. Room is your standard run of the mill 2 or 1 bed with tv, and separate bathroom with full shower/tub sink and toilet. Water is hot and pressure is decent. Rooms are serviced immaculately by competent housekeeping staff, never had a stained sheet or dirty carpet during any stay. The location is convenient being right off 295 a major NJ north south highway, it's not near any real attractions or tourist areas. But it seems to do well keeping guests it has a few competitors near by, I feel it beats I'n all contest, including price! Only thing I'd say this isn't a party hotel, which if your looking for that kinda place this isn't it. It's a quiet nice room, an amazing free breakfast, which includes more then most hotels breakfasts do. Including bacon and sausage, and eggs. Which usually don't make it to most free hotel breakfasts, in my experience. It's not a luxury hotel, the rooms are smaller, but still very comfortable. For me the cost tends to drive where I stay hotel wise, I'm not gonna spring for a 3 star or couple extra amenities when I can have a great 2 star which meets and exceed my needs at. Competitive price. And add the staff is awesome, from the management, to the maintenance guys who fixed the clogged shower drain, I encountered in 20 minutes of it being made known to the front desk . No need for multiple calls, no no sence excuses like our maintenance is closed or not available.. or takes 3 hours to show up to fix the issue. Like many similar priced spots. The staff seems genuinely trying to do a good job and make the guest happy. Which is great when you wanna shower but then can't because of a stopped drain, the guest beds this fixed quickly. They want to shower now not tomorrow not in 4 hours. I could go on. But simply put it's a great spot. The price is good. Tho it can creep up to the point I'm looking elsewhere to save. Which is hot or miss, mostly miss in the south...

We had a Quick checkin with kevin i think his name was, we arrived around 7ish on a Saturday evening. Room 114 Hallway def smelt like smoking, but our room closed off that smell except if you were too close to the door. I dont smoke, so am clearly very sensitive to it. It was bearable in the room. One night i woke up mid-night to a long smoke (not cigs) smell, which id say was the most negative part for me, hence the one star off, but it was manageable. Outside traffic/noise was pretty evident, but with a tv on its not bad. A Quick glance, room looked clean. My biggest thing with hotels is cleanliness like BUGS, moldy areas & unclean areas that all together make ur skin crawl to even lay down, but happy to say there was none of that for our room! I felt very comfortable. The Rest of our stay (2nights) went well. Nothing popped up to make us have a negative experience. The breakfast was pretty good! Waffles, eggs, potatoes, cornbeef hash, bagels & more. These days its Difficult finding a budget friendly GOOD hotel (imo). I researched hotels for a week reading reviews on several sites, deciding which to TRUST since coming from NC. Any money spent is my forever in student debt earned money & i hate having bad experiences with my money spent! I dont like hotels, but happy to say we had a GOOD experience & will consider this hotel again when visiting family...

Love this place always nice n clean and when I so clean I mean it if there ever is a problem there on it like white on rice this place in my favor 10/10 for The breakfast is always good never cold the pool is always clean the hallways are always clean the parking lot is great as parking everywhere for RV and Tractor trailers and big pick up trucks with trailers and regular size cars plenty of handicap parking they have an oni so if it's raining you can pull up under n unload and no one complains the rooms are spotless you have a frigerator you have a TV in a microwave a table a desk and what you can get a king size bed or even get 1 with 2 beds and I think they're the same price I'm not to sure and you also get 3 chairs in each Room you get Lake a little fold up thing right yes for a your laundry you get an iron board with an iron and a huge shower in good size bathroom and the rooms are cleaned daily and the carpets are nice clean in soft and is plenty of outlets the plug in your stuff and their Internet service is great and they always update is place every few years I've been a customer here now for Illinois 18 years and I know ever least 6 renovations since I've been coming here and the beds are Call double and the pillows are like sleeping on clouds I highly...
