Stayed at Hostel Room #1 w/ a shared bathroom. Enough space for 2 people on a few days trip to Glacier NP. Comfortable bed, clean, ample indoor lighting, sensible accommodation.
I’m usually not keen on a shared bathroom situation but wasn’t an issue at all w/ whoever we were sharing it during our stay. The bathroom is VERY clean (I feel like they clean it throughout the day), well lit, great shower pressure and temperature control. Plenty of counter-space in there as well.
Proximity to the park entrance is definitely a key reason to stay here. Outside you might see the horses and donkeys they have on property. Saw some turkeys as well. Very quiet, serene around morning/dusk.
They offer other amenities such as dining tables, grills, microwave, extra utensils, etc. just around the corner of the bldg.
The limited interaction we had w/ staff after booking online was primarily informative. We called in on our way there to inquire renting their bear spray and the young gal we spoke to was very courteous and made sure the item was in our room before arrival. Essentially we didn’t really see or interact w/ any other personnel after self-checking in.

Read moreGlacier Homestead was absolutely incredible. If you want to experience the Crown of the Continent and the best landscapes Montana has to offer, then this is the place for you. We went to beautiful Glacier National Park multiple times which is right down the street. Going-to-the-Sun-Road and Logan Pass might be one of the most scenic areas in the country. All of Glacier Homestead properties are immaculate and so clean. Between hiking Avalanche Lake and White Water Rafting we got to relax in the Hot Tub surrounded by amazing landscapes or even just relax on the wrap around porch that faces Teakettle Mountain and Columbia Falls. They have horses on the homestead, an adventure ropes course and axe throwing around the corner, and Boat rentals are not far on Flat Head Lake. We spent a day tubing surrounded by mountains! There’s a ton of top tier restaurants to visit in White Fish as well. I would highly recommend staying at Glacier Homestead. I can’t wait to go back and if you have enough time make sure you hit the Rodeo! God...
Read moreWe had the pleasure of staying in the brand new 4 bedroom cabin. All we can say is wow! There is a private master suite with its own balcony to take in the mountain views. the main floor has an open floor plan with 2 bedrooms that share a bathroom. The lower level has 4 bunk beds and with its own sitting space, tv and fire place not to mention a walkout patio with hot tub! Everything was well maintained and 1st floor laundry was an added bonus. The staff and ownership were extremely friendly and accommodating!
The location was perfect that it was only 5 miles from Glacier national park and were plenty of activities in the area from Hiking, Going to the Sun Road, Glacier Highline, Glacier Raft Company, Big Sky water park and about 15 minutes to Columbia Falls. White Fish is about a 30min drive and was totally worth checking out as well. We couldn't recommend a better place to stay...
