We loved this resort. We exchanged our week with RCI for a week here and it was such a beautiful place. Very quaint and private. We loved that part of it the most. We didn’t really see any other guests. It is a beautiful place to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I recommend bringing bug spray. Lots of mosquitoes and they were all over the screen when windows were open. Weirdly we didn’t itch from bites which we most definitely got while there so didn’t have any issues with that. But I definitely recommend bug spray. We had everything we needed to cook. The items they provide are listed on their website. Tip: If you’re flying into Kalispell there is a Super 1 foods and you can do an online order to pick up on the way to the cabin. It’s very convenient though they were out of a few things we ordered. There is also a place called the Sharing Shack on the way from the airport and you can borrow items like coolers and sunscreen and bug spray. It’s a great idea and also a great place to donate items not used on vacation! This resort is so close to GNP West entrance. There’s restaurants within a 15-20 minute drive. The Starlink Internet isn’t great. We had a hard time with that during the week but we were prepared for it. We also lost power one morning for a couple hours. This all comes with being in a rural location. But my kids absolutely loved the hot tub and it was nice after a long hike! They also loved the lodge with all the games and the heated pool. A beautiful waterfall is a short walk from the resort, too. Very nice they provide bearspray for you as you’ll need it when hiking the area. The beds were comfortable so everyone slept fine. Very nice there is a washer and dryer in the cabin with laundry detergent! You can go up going to the sun Road before 6am and after 3pm without a reservation and since it is so easy to get to the park it’s definitely doable in one day since it doesn’t get dark until 10 pm or so! Overall we absolutely loved glacier wilderness resort and recommend it to anyone visiting Glacier National Park. The management was also super friendly...
Read moreMy wife and I lodged here for four nights with our four young children to see GNP. My parents, brother and their two children lodged in another 2br/2ba unit along with us. The property was very well kept fresh flowers and maintained grass/pathways were noted. Staff was constantly working on the property when we were there. The check in process was smooth and staff was very friendly and offered us bear spray (which we already had). This place gave my kids the nostalgia of a mountain vacation from my childhood. It is set well off the road and the entire property was quiet and peaceful. The cabins were clean and had numerous large-screened windows in each room which were designed to be opened to allow the cool mountain air in. These units do not have A/C and the windows allowed us to stay quite comfortable. The woodwork in the cabins has aged well and my children loved the resort pool and hot tub for after our hikes. We also cooked out of their gas bbq pits and used their covered picnic tables for larger dining with our other unit. There is a beautiful waterfall on-site in a cedar grove about a 3 minute walk from the designated trail head. Located around mile marker 163.1 off of Hwy 2 - It was about 20 minutes from the Apgar visitor center and about 1 hour to the two medicine entrance. If your looking to stay on the west side I would highly recommend this place. We would love to lodge again...
Read moreMy husband and I honeymooned here at the end of October of 2022. Our stay was nothing short of fantastic. The cabin was stocked, we just brought food and our favorite cookware (which the kitchen is stocked). The cabin felt so clean and cozy. We stayed in a one bedroom. The nature trails are breathtaking, and the waterfall easy to hike to. The grounds were quiet and the neighbors were polite and kind. The management was incredible. Sarah and Eric were helpful, kind, and good natured. They answered any questions we had and did everything they could to be accommodating. If we ran out of something or had a need they met it quickly! We brought lots of games and things to keep us occupied. Keep in mind this place is in the woods, you still need to be appropriately prepared for weather and wildlife. These cabins are the perfect montana experience. There’s no cell service and very minimal wifi, so bring things to keep you occupied if it rains. We brought our favorite movies and games we could play offline on the Xbox. It was great! They do offer wood you can buy for the fireplace if you don’t want to bring your own, it was super affordable and they gave you everything you needed to get a...
