I booked this hotel several months ago through the Wyndham app when I got to the hotel, I was told the hotel was no longer Wyndham hotel and it was owned by the KOA campground that was behind the hotel. That’s fine but I was never told about that so that’s Wyndham‘s fault. They did honor the amount that I was supposed to pay through Wyndham so that was good. When we checked in and went to the room. The room had sliding windows, one window open several inches and would not close or lock. There was a little skinny dowel type piece of wood in the window track to try and keep the window from opening and also to keep it closed. But the piece of wood was about 2 inches short so the window would not stay closed. We went to the front desk and ask Jackie and her husband if they can help us and they said they couldn’t do anything about it, and that all the windows were like that! Not very safe!! My husband took care of it, and got some rocks and put it in the window tracks to keep the window from opening. We went to the camp store, next-door and met Megan. Megan also works at the front desk of the hotel, which is now called Mountain Vista. Megan was extremely helpful and very friendly and accommodating. She was surprised that the other employees did not try to help us out with the window. This hotel could use more employees like Megan it would make things much better in the hotel. The room was clean, but very dusty. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean. There was a back door to the hotel, which was closest to our room but the door was never locked. Anybody could come and go through that door. You did not need a key to get in the door. So Mountain Vista just needs to do a few safety upgrades in the hotel and...

The rooms are outdated but clean. We had lovely evening staff; however, the morning staff experience and breakfast was not good. We went for breakfast at 8:30 and had to ask to have the only coffee carafe refilled. That took over 30 mins, in which, we had to ask if it was ready? Many of the containers were empty, we had to ask for more bread to toast. They came out frozen solid and covered in ice. And they were gone in 20 mins and not refilled. The garbages were over flowing. The staff member didn’t come to tend the area once in the 30 minutes we were there, minus when we asked for items. She was more interested in being curled up in a blanket at the front desk, being on her cell phone drinking her coffee over ensuring the busy breakfast area was running efficiently. This hotel had no amenities and the one it did (breakfast) was subpar. It was not a cheap stay but I would have rather paid more for a...

Sadly, we were really disappointed with our room. It was very dusty, the window was filthy and there were greasy fingerprints on the bedside table, and overall it was quite small. The pictures posted on line are very deceiving. When we requested a first floor room (they don't have an elevator) because of our age and recent hip surgery, they were unable to accommodate our request. Then when we came back from dinner, after finally climbing the steps for what we thought would be the last time of the day, we found out they deactivated our key all because they only charged us for one day instead of the two we were staying...why not just charge our cc again...why deactivate the key??!! The very small breakfast area was OK, but nothing special....not many options. On the positive side, the women at the front desk were very friendly and helpful with...

Very loud old place. Many out of country visitors. Small bathrooms. Breakfast was processed items. They do have an ice machine in the lobby. The patio was nice but close to the road. Koa right next to it for laundry and store. But all night long, you heard people slamming doors and talking. Wayer pressure in the shower was not consistent.
