Read moreWe recently stayed here. This review is specifically for the old cabins. The old cabins are a dump. If I could have found another room somewhere else we would not have moved and not stayed here. Broken kitchen chairs, stove that only partially worked, everything outdated and old and run down. The bed spreads would have been nice if they were in a personal cabin. They are made of material that can not be laundered after each guest stays in the cabin. I can only imagine what other guests did on the bed spread/blanket that were not washed before we occupied the room. The bed was broken down and when you laid on it you would roll out of the bed. We took extra pillows and placed them in between the mattress and box springs towards the edge and it made the bed more level. Carpet was dirty and needed to be cleaned. I wore my socks the entire time they were so dirty. They also had some rugs that looked like they had not been laundered in a while. There were material place mats that were on the night stands and in the kitchen. They could use a good laundering. The bathroom was the worst. The shower was so small you could hardly turn around in it. The material shower curtain had probably not been was in a washer in a while. Vanity door fell off when you got the extra towels out. Inside of the bathroom door had never been painted so there were dirty fingerprints all over it with grease marks and various other stains on it. Looked gross and dirty. I have stayed in more than 60 nights in hotels this year. I appreciate knowing that covid precautions have been taken. Clearly with everything that was dirty and unwashed I did not feel like it was clean. As for the room alone I would have given 1star. Things that brought it up to 2 stars. Staff was friendly at the time of reservation and when we checked in. Fridge worked good. Towels and washcloths were of a good quality and white and clean. Location was quiet, away from the crowds in west Yellowstone. 20 min to town if we wanted to go to dinner. View of the lake was great. If you choose to stay here avoid the old cabins they are in serious need of renovations and cleaning. ask for a new cabin, we did not go inside but they...
