We couldn't stay the nights we booked. The queen bed is way too high off the floor, my 6' husband needed a step. Can't imagine what older people do? The room was cramped. The bed takes up 3/4 of the space. There's two chairs to sit and relax in the room but they're uncomfortable and you can't put them next to each other. The two person high top table and bar stools aren't comfortable for any length of time. The heat is an electric fake fire heater. There's no door into the bathroom and saloon doors into the toilet/shower. So, no privacy unless your partner stays in the bedroom. Yes, rustic is everywhere here but old blankets, towels? We lost out on two nights, no money back, because I couldn't sit in the chairs offered because of a painful lower back and the only other option was the bed which isn't what I want to lay in all the time I'm there. At $255 a night...well no. They should be up front about the bed and room when booking. The owners are fabulous, helpful, and the food is great. Outside is rustic also. Tired looking. Close to a noisy highway. There are better options in town with newer towels, blankets, doors, heat, clean outside area, comfortable chairs...it was all too much. The king room is great though but we were told we had to move. Oh! I booked this back in June. We stayed at Westgate Inn, it's wonderful with blueberry pancakes!

Thank you for the hospitality, the breakfast every morning was fabulous. The room, and space in general, perfect, better than any hotel. The bed and pillows so comfortable. Kudos! Now for our hosts. S & D are wonderful people. We had great conversations about fishing, hiking and places to go. Cave Falls, Mesa Falls made a wonderful day hike and drive. Saw comments about mosquitoes, we planned ahead and brought repellent and a couple f citronella candles, they did the trick. We were able to enjoy the beautiful garden and cool night. Check out W Yellowstone BnB.

What a great B&B!!! Deborah was a gracious host, who made us feel so at home! Our room was huge, beautiful and spotless! The B&B was just the road a few miles from the entrance to Yellowstone, but you were just out of the city to where it was so peaceful. Deborah’s breakfast’s we’re great and the conversation was good! What a great place to stay in west Yellowstone!

Pros:||||• Quiet.||• Clean, spacious room.||• Delicious breakfast choices.||• Short drive to West Yellowstone and park gate.||• Competitive pricing.||• Personalized attention from the host.||||Cons:||||• Not really a con, but internet speed was just okay.||||I did an extensive search for accommodations in the West Yellowstone area prior to my visit and kept circling back to the West Yellowstone Bed and Breakfast. I am SO glad I opted to stay here! It was peaceful, clean, comfortable, and felt very safe for a solo traveler. It also made a perfect base for exploring the area. ||||WYBB is located just a few miles east of West Yellowstone, making for a quick and easy drive into town or to Yellowstone National Park. It is located right off Highway 20; however, traffic noise is minimal and did not bother me at all during my time there. Each of the three guest rooms has a private entrance and bath, along with a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker with choices of coffee and tea. Log furniture has been handcrafted by Scott (one of the owners). The garden area offers a nice place to relax under the pine trees (weather permitting!).||||I stayed in the spacious upper level Queen Room with Garden View. This room has a very comfortable queen-sized bed as well as a fold-out futon to accommodate additional guests. The bathroom is roomy with a modern tiled shower. Storage for luggage and clothes was just right. Note: This room is accessible only by outside stairs, so it probably is not the best choice for someone with mobility issues.||||Breakfast is served from 7:00 am – 9:00 am. Guests may choose their breakfast time and select options from a short (but yummy!) menu. The variety of food choices should appeal to most guests. Breakfast can be brought to the room, or guests can dine in a lovely standalone breakfast solarium. I tried a couple of different items and found everything to be very good, with ample portions to sustain morning hikes. ||||I did not get to meet Scott, but Deborah was an absolutely gracious, kind, and accommodating hostess. She offered great recommendations for dining in town, and was able to loan me bear spray and a small pair of binoculars for my time in the park. I particularly appreciated the tour guides and books in the room since they helped me fine-tune my daily plans. ||||WYBB has free wi-fi, which to be honest can run a little slow at times, but then I was here to get away from things, not for ultra-high speed internet! There is also no television, but again, that’s not what I came for, so I didn’t miss it a bit.||||Hotels everywhere tend to be noisy and busy these days, even in the shoulder season. West Yellowstone Bed and Breakfast was a great choice for quiet, private, and safe lodging. The nightly rate was competitive with other area hotels and B&Bs, and well worth the money to have a stress-free, pleasant, and memorable stay. I look forward to going back!||||Tips:||||• Do a little research ahead of time on the many dining options available for lunch and dinner in West Yellowstone. Then ask the WYBB hosts for their opinions, as some online information for local eateries seems to be outdated. ||• It’s the Rocky Mountains. Pack for the possibility of all seasons in one day. Wear comfortable and sturdy footwear, even if you don’t think you’ll be doing much hiking.||• Water and sunscreen are must-haves at this elevation!||• Recommended: Visit the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center. Take time for a guided tour, watch the outdoor movies (weather permitting), and really read the information presented. It is a terrific educational experience...

The overall property is run down and no up keep is done. There is construction going on at the property making it disturbing and we were not informed of the construction until we arrived .The owner didn't seem to care about the comfort of our stay ,but instead the progress of their construction. The room was uncomfortable , and there were two very uncomfortable old chairs .There was not a couch ,instead they had a very uncomfortable trundle bed which you could not sit on. There was no TV or radio or music available. The room was cold and the décor was dusty ,old and run down. The bathroom was small with no counter space and the shower was terrible and may have had some mold. There was a small coffee pot that was dirty and disgusting. The log furniture was very uncomfortable and you couldn't sit on it comfortably. The lighting was poor through out. The food was terrible ,they advertised how wonderful the food was . I am sorry , my kids cook better than these people. Lastly, we experienced a medical issue and told the owner that we needed to seek medical attention and leave and asked if we could receive a refund for the other nights booked and they refused even though we had concerns with Covid . I believe these people think that there location is so desirable , that people will accept the run down condition of the facility. Also, the two week no refund policy unfairly takes advantage of travelers who don't realize how terrible this place is until they arrive and then its to late to get a refund .They use false advertising by photo shopping the pictures and writing up a glamorous description of this place on there web site . Also, I would not be surprised if they had their friends write up great reviews on there web site . Please do not spend your hard earned money ( $ 225/night) at this place !! They post reviews of the previous owners reputation . The owner did tell us that if they were able to rent the room we would get a refund ,but they never took down the No...
