When one thinks of a campground in rural northern Vermont, what comes to my mind is a place that is old and rundown with marginal hookups and amenities. This is so not the case here.||Joyce and Jim are terrific stewards of this family built and run facility. Only 32 sites, and the majority of them are occupied by seasonal residents who typically are there for long weekends. The transient sites are mixed in, and they are wide enough so you are not on top of your neighbor. The hookups are modern and convenient with 30 Amp service. No cable TV, no over the air channels available, Verizon cell service was almost nonexistent, but the wifi was mostly very good and reliable. We had a problem with our tow vehicle and Jim arranged for me to get it into a local mechanic right away and even gave me a ride to go pick the car up. The sites are nice size with full hook-ups. There is a bucolic pond and nice green space in the center and a bubbling brook (Millbrook creek) right behind out camper with a soothing water running sound. We had 4 bars of AT&T cell signal. I will stay here again if we get back to this beautiful...

We had a problem with our tow vehicle, and Jim fixed me up with a mechanic who looked at it right away for us. Jim even gave me a ride to pick it up when it was done. This is a really wonderful family run campground I would...
