Woodlands Spa — Hotel in Wharton Township

I am definitely disappointed and recommend checking your reservations 4 times before coming onsite because apparently three times isn’t the charm. I spoke with two Kaitlyns (one in reservations and one in the spa) and another person to ensure that we would experience two separate couples massages. We get there and they have one couple set and then my husband and I were split up. I called three times prior to confirm we were set (type A personality). When I raised my concern the person at the counter insisted that they couldn’t get us in and someone else was booked in the room. Finally Kaitlyn was able to get my husband and I in at a later time but it impacted the remainder of our day plans. Nobody apologized after I repeatedly told them how unhappy I was. Two other people outside of our group even commented what poor service we had. I would never go back to this spa. They offered no resolution or apology.

While at Nemacolin, we spent 3 days at the Woodlands Spa. We have been to dozens of soas, and this one is special. Great amenities (steam, eucalyptus, sauna, hot tubs, indoor salt water pool, tranquility rooms, fireside meditation area, tasty snacks and beverages). Gorgeous decor, with open floor plans. And, in particular, outstanding service!

A particular shout out to Keri, who was my massage therapist for 2 of my 3 90-minute treatments. I was experiencing serious neck and right shoulder pain. Not only did Keri provide me with expert muscle work, but, on the fly, she offered personally-tailored to neck stretching work that provided me with real relief.

The spa was absolutely amazing! The experience, the treatment, the staff.. Couldn't say nice enough things about it. The salon on the other hand was terrible. My haircut was completely botched and my hair cutter did not know how to cut men's hair. I left the salon feeling ashamed and embarrassed of how I looked. What I asked for at the beginning is nothing that I got. I attempted to guide her in fixing it, but eventually gave up and realized I'm better off getting it fixed somewhere else. Truly, the worst haircut I have ever recieved......
