My girlfriend and I stayed at the Willowicke for 2 nights, and neither of us had ever been to a "real" bed and breakfast before. The property is absolutely stunning, inside and out. The owners were so friendly and helpful, giving us great recommendations on local breweries and restaurants. We enjoyed the long nature walk around the property, as well as petting the donkeys and cats. Breakfast was phenomenal both mornings, and more than we could finish (although we certainly tried) We decided after our stay that we're never staying at a hotel again, its BnBs from here out (and not the kind with Air in front)

Our innkeepers were wonderful and very accommodating! The house was beautiful, and the setting was so peaceful that the stress just melted away. The llamas were great! It was fun to meet them as each had distinct personalities. And let’s not forget the food. It was first rate! How can a getaway be any better than this?! The inn is close to downtown Williamston that has great shops and restaurants as well, and the Antique Mall is not very far away. This one’s a “must do” trip. We think you will agree with us that the Willowicke Inn is more than worth the stay!

I bartended a wedding at Willowicke Inn this weekend and all I can say is what a fabulous experience. The owners were so helpful and kind which always helps an event run smoothly. But the whole look and vibe of the place? It was absolutely beautiful. The barn was decorated so lovely, from the lights and flowers to beautifully crafted doors to use as a backdrop for photos. And the outside land? Absolutely breathtaking. The best part were the adorable animals out back. The overall experience was truly one of a kind.

Willowicke Inn was a very cool family experience. The owners, Sooney and Mike, managed, coordinated, and prepared multiple factors that made our family event pure joy. The Willowicke property is gorgeous; stunning gardens, picturesque barns, fields and forest to explore. The Inn was exceedingly comfortable [(e.g., high quality mattresses, large bathrooms (ours had a skylight)], clean (spotless glasses and stemware, unique granite countertops, tidy fridge), well-appointed (e.g., games, movies, books) with pleasing to the eye interior decor which gave the Inn an upscale feel (like “oh, this is a nice place”). We used all 5 guest bedrooms rooms the first night and 4 rooms our second night. The guest half of the large farmhouse feels separate from the proprietors living area, so we had an abundance of privacy, yet Sooney and Mike were readily accessible when we wanted. We hiked the trails, were introduced to the resident llamas & donkeys, swam in the pool, worked out on the indoors pickleball court, soothed muscles in the hot tub, watched the sunset by the bonfire pit, and enjoyed cocktails and tunes on the deck. Sounds great, right? And it was, but those activities were rivaled by Sooney’s culinary skill! Sooney coordinated with our son ahead of time to create a menu for one wildly memorable dinner (fettuccine Alfredo, chicken piccata, roasted root vegetables, caprese garlic bread, cannolis and lemon bars). Plus, two nights, so two breakfasts each offered a wide variety of tastiness. Warning: breakfasts at Willowick Inn are large. Every meal featured fresh foods creatively prepared and delicious. At our advance request, Sooney served a massive charcuterie board poolside. Almost forgot… and arranged for a photographer who worked with us to capture a couple special moments. Our hosts were enthusiastic to offer assistance, available, and pleasant to interact with. ...

We could not have asked for anything more..everything was perfect.... it was a dream come true. The Inn, service, and beautiful grounds will not disappoint.|||| The inn is so charming. This is a top-notch 5+ star facility and Sooney (owner) is a fantastic cook. We had terrific daily brunches from sour cream pancakes with their own homemade syrup. Homemade yogurt parfaits to Bananas Foster French Toast to homemade vegetable quiche right out of the garden to a magnificent four-cheese quiche. An out-of-this-world fabulous charcuterie board from dark chocolates to fresh fruits, homemade dips and homemade breads/crackers to the meats, and homemade preserves, so many options to choose from. The best presentation I have ever seen nationally. Then the best homemade Lasagna, like grandma would make. Homemade brownies and cakes to die for.|||| The owners- Mike and Sooney, had the best southern charm and hospitality at its most pleasing the Michigander way. All was wonderful—every last-minute request was taken care of with promptness, courtesy, and with ease. Thank you for making beautiful memories for us all...Our son’s college graduation events could not have been any better! You guys rocked it. The memories we are leaving with will last us a lifetime and more. ||||We so appreciate Llama's experience, Mike. The llamas were the icing on the cake 😀🙌. The kids so enjoyed it as well. The hot tub was a bonus helping us to relax after a busy day. We are leaving blessed and honored to have met you...
