Hidden jewel on Whidbey Island with prime views and unforgettable peaceful experience. We loved it and will visit again.

This place is built on a 30 year old winery. Accommodations are on the third level above the wine operations/tasting room. The facilities are modern/industrial design with touches of warm wood details throughout.

Rooms: 6 rooms in total, VERY clean bathroom and room. Amazing attention to detail; would compare to probably a Marriott stay, just cleaner. There are clean bath robes, soft towels, and good quality soap. Bed spreads are soft and warm, pillows smell fresh, and the bed is incredibly comfortable.

Breakfast (included): Fresh EVERYTHING, is the best I can do to describe it. You will enjoy fresh eggs from backyard chickens, fresh veggies and legumes from the backyard garden, and delicious home baked bread and desert.

Staff: Family owned operations, kind and caring people. Owner is very personable, friendly and welcoming. You feel and see it all around.

Surroundings: This place is incredibly quiet. We live in Portland where freeway noise is everywhere... You go outside and it's just peaceful. The ground are well kept, plenty of space to walk around. Great for weddings or mid size events. Shaded tables available for reading and wine tasting.

Summary: Would absolutely recommend. Pictures don't do it justice. We left with a warm and fuzzy feeling....

Our 40th wedding anniversary was spent at this Bed and Breakfast/Winery. What a wonderful time we had. The owners were welcoming and took extra time to visit with us when they had time. The property is in a quiet location, and the fact that it is a working winery as well is unique. It is located just minutes from Langley which is one of our favorite small towns to visit.

The property is pastoral and the modern building nestles into the setting well. The rooms are clean, tastefully appointed, and very comfortable. The room we were in was spacious and had plenty of storage and open area. The custom bed frames and headboards really added to the spacious room feel. The common kitchen area is well set up, and the common reading/living room is inviting. We had a view that looked across to Clinton and south Everett.

We understood there was a simple breakfast, but wow! We got homemade granola with yogurt and toasted homemade apricot/walnut bread with an apple/pear/fig side salad.

We were having battery problems with our vehicle - requiring an overnight battery charge, and finally a jump-start. They were very helpful and made sure we got jumped so we could get over to Les Schwab and get a new battery.

This place is our best place to stay in the area! We will go out of our way...

Me and my husband visited the winery bed and breakfast in March, and at that time did not receive the breakfast, so I cannot comment on that portion. The location of the winery is in the country, and on the drive there in the early afternoon, we came across quite a few deer. The drive was nice and did not take long from the ferry. There are 6 rooms in total and all are located upstairs above the winery. Our room was very spacious and very nicely decorated. The view from the bed looks out towards Puget Sound as seen by my picture in this review. The bed itself was AMAZING!! I have never slept in softer sheets and the firmness of the bed was perfect. The bathroom was nicely sized and had a large walk-in shower. If someone was traveling and had a larger suitcase, the room could accommodate that without feeling crowded inside the room; there is ample space, which is nice when on vacation. The grounds are very well maintained and would be beautiful in the Summer months when everything is in bloom. If you are looking for someplace to stay rather then the run-of-the-mill hotel and something different; I would highly recommend a stay here. It was perfect for us but may not fit everyone, but this B&B is 21 and older only and no pets.

My wife and I booked a last minute one night stay at Comforts of Whidbey. Rita, the owner, was very responsive to my phone calls and super helpful making sure we were all set. We arrived to a chilled cheese platter with a flight of wine, and relaxed on an expansive porch with a view of the sound. Our room also had nice view, and the amenities were excellent. We enjoyed all the wines we tried. Definitely there is an option for everyone. In the hallway of the rooms upstairs was a small coffee bar with fridge. Bottles of wine were available to guests on an honor system (enjoy as desired, pay upon departure). In the morning, the breakfast (cooked by Rita) featured farm fresh eggs garnished with herbs from her garden, break baked on site, fresh fruit, granola with a very nice yogurt, a healthy portion of sliced ham, orange juice (mimosa if desired) and coffee. Honestly, it was simply a very nice relaxing evening, night, and morning. The BnB is quite close to the town of Langley, and dinner options are plenty. Comforts of Whidbey is a top choice from us now.
