We went back to Beaverdam Falls and took the boys for father's day. We love it there.
This time we stayed in the bottom at Sweet Springs. This is a much more suited spot if you have young kids. It's pretty wide open and easy to let the kids run. We just had to make sure Easton stayed away from the stream and the fire pit. Sweet Springs still offers the sound of the falls which is amazing for relaxing/sleeping even though this camp site is is positioned down stream slightly. There is a large tree beside the tent that offers shade and even though the tent is in a more open spot it never got miserable hot inside as long as the windows were open.
Falling Waters will be our next stay at Beaverdam Falls. It's an A frame cabin positioned on the opposite side of the stream from the other 3 locations. We are excited for this one to be done. Front door is sliding glass with built in blinds. When the blinds are drawn you are looking across the pools below directly to the waterfall. Behind the cabin is a nice wooded ridge that we saw 3 deer on while we were looking around. To get to Falling Waters you have to walk across a bridge over the stream. From there it's a short walk with a small incline probably 100 yards or less away. You approach from the rear where there are large windows to allow a great view from behind as well. I will add pictures after our stay.
As always Beau Bryan is the man and very accommodating. He's not the type of host that you avoid, he's genuinely a good dude. We also got to meet his gorgeous pitty ๐ถ. Thank you for sharing what you have with...
ย ย ย Read moreThis was an amazing stay! The owners clearly care about the park and the quality of your stay than they care about your money! The campsite was even more beautiful than the pictures made it out to be. It was incredibly helpful how many things they provide you with. Like the filled water jug, cooking supplies and even butane burners, a heater. there was even these neat battery packs that could all be swapped between the provided flashlight, lantern, speaker, or fan. They can even charge your phone. The campsites have a porta-potty (Which was kept very very clean) located very close to the sites so you don't have to worry about walking to them. Not having cell service only made our stay even more relaxing, and if we needed wifi we just had to head to the bathhouse which was also not too far from the site as well. The campsites a pretty far from one another, but they also have plenty of trees in between so your stay will be very private. I definitely recommend the 'top of the rock' site, but they all seemed nice.
The water fall is GORGEOUS!! BOOK A STAY HERE, YOU...
ย ย ย Read moreBeaverdam Falls is a beautiful and relaxing place to spend quality outdoor time. Our family stayed in the cottage with our dogs and loved every second! Next time we visit we plan on staying in one of the camping sites to get a different experience. Each site has plenty of amenities for a comfortable stay, all provided by the owner, Beau. If you need additional supplies or forgot something critical, they are available at a small fee.
The trails, cave, and waterfalls are gorgeous! We enjoyed some hiking, but especially loved swimming in the natural falls and water holes. We found there to be nothing better than sitting in the falls and reading a good book.
Highly recommend visiting this...
