This was a great place to stay because they are individual cabins and it’s secluded away from the highway. I liked having that quietness. Our room had 3 queen beds (1/2) and a pull out I believe. Two full baths, front and back porches. Kitchen area with stove and fridge but no oven. Didn’t realize that til we got back to the room with our alfredo chicken from Costco. Had an electric fireplace in the living room area and a cooling unit that both worked well. Large bedroom area had the same cooling unit and electric wall heating units that worked sufficiently. They have two jacuzzi spas that were underutilized while I was there as well as two washers and dryers. They also had a sauna but I didn’t try it out. Fairly close proximity to the three cities/towns in the area and a multitude of eating establishments I’ll comment on other posts. These were all positives and why I would stay there again.
What I didn’t care for was the customer service aspect here. Pretty sure I saw the onsite owner while I was in the jacuzzi and he didn’t check in to see how things were. The first day we got there the girl at the front desk was helpful. There was no room service while we were there and it looked like they were looking for help. One of their maintenance guys was blowing debris to the end of the row which happened to be where my vehicle was parked. Additionally, I spoke to a young man there named Clayton who seemed to not really care. I attempted to interact with him a couple times but felt like I was taking him away from his computer or phone game each time. They made it a point to tell my daughter they would charge our room for bear spray if it wasn’t returned. When I returned it, his reply was “Ok” and he took it and dropped it below the counter without getting my info. I gave him my info and he stated, “ok” and went back to the back room.
I would stay here again because i like the location...
Read moreI cannot say enough positive things about North Forty. We had our wedding here on September 1st and were absolutely blown away by the high levels of service, number of cabins, event center, decorations and amenities available to us, and the affordable cost of renting the space. This was better than I could have ever imagined when I toured the resort after 3 feet of snow. My husband and my guests cannot stop commenting on how perfect of a destination it is for a wedding. The cabins which sleep 4-10 people were perfect to gather our whole wedding and have an ideal Montana cabin experience. 8 minutes from the airport, 10 minutes from Whitefish, and 30 minutes from Glacier, it made for the perfect location for our 65 out of state guests. Sarah, the venue coordinator made everything so easy and helped with every detail. She could be reached easily months leading up to the wedding and was happy to help wherever possible. I cannot recommend working with her enough. Tris, the general manager was so kind and supportive of our entire group being there and taking over the property for 3 days. The event and housekeeping team to set up and tore down everything did it all with ease and so much kindness. This will forever be such a special place in my heart and I can't imagine having a better wedding anywhere else. We will definitely be back in the future for a relaxing stay....
Read moreNO STARS. I went to the North Forty to rent a sleep six cabin for some out of town guest that I have coming for the upcoming WHS graduation. I had asked the front desk woman, I think her name was Heidi, if we could BBQ the night before with our guest, on the BBQ grill and use the picnic table that comes with it. She said no. Really? She then offered to call the "new owner" to see if it was okay with him. We did not ask her to do this, she offered. After she got off of the phone with him, she came back out of her office and said, "He doesn't want your business." We questioned why, she responded, "He doesn't want a party back there." OK, no need to BBQ, but we still need lodging for our guest. "Nope, he doesn't want your business at all." We had cash in our pockets ready to rent the sleep six cabin for two nights, turned away because it appears that the "new owner" doesn't like it if people eat outside or cash. The North Forty is a horrible place that treats locals like crap on a shoe. I do not recommend it if you like decent people. Thank you for showing your colors before we gave you our money. I would hate to subject my out of state guest to your rudeness and disregard for business. I had to pick at least one star to get the option to post here, but that's wrong....
