DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE! My family and I booked 15+ rooms for 4 nights because it was in walking distance to my father in-laws house for a surprise 75th birthday party (most of us drove 8+ hours to get there). Our standards were low going into it however it was worse than we could have imagined!||Our room was dirty. We discovered a needle (thankfully capped) by the side of the bed. Black pubic hair all over the bathroom (none of us have black hair). Bathroom sink faucet almost fell off turning on/off the water. White sink was yellow. Electrical outlets were missing cover plates. Thick dust in the vents and on the blinds. And the wifi did not work (yes, real world problems when you have a kid). When we talked to the manager about the needle we found and he said “we cleaned the room, so maybe it’s yours”. You have to be kidding me! Why would we report a needle in our room if it was ours? We asked to talk to the owner because the manager and the woman refused to even listen to our complaints or offer a solution and we were denied the information. Apparently the manger is in the process of buying the hotel so I’m guessing the current owner doesn’t really care anyway. The police were called and responded. The only solution they could offer was an email address for the “owner”. I don’t believe for a minute the email address is valid. ||Cousin#1: room was dirty, dusty, black pubic hair all over the room, refrigerator didn’t work, tv didn’t work. When Cousin #1 went to talk to the manager the lady said “don’t you have a husband? Is he not a man? Why isn’t he in here dealing with this?” She went on further to blame the pubic hair on them and went as far as to say “we don’t know if someone made keys to rooms and came in after we cleaned them”….. WHAT!!! Cousin suggested key cards to eliminate that possibility and the woman said “well that costs money”. ||Niece/Nephew#1: room was so dirty and floor was so sticky they went to Dollar General and cleaned the room themselves. Their comforter had crusty white “stuff” on it. They also had issues with allergies due to all the dust. ||Cousin#2: room dirty and less than 8 hours after check-in they went into 2 of their rooms! One of which had teenage kids in it. They originally denied going into them and even called the teenagers liars but then said “we went into 1 room to close the blinds” and “we thought the other room was abandoned because the beds were stripped”. We explained to them that the beds were stripped because they were checking for bed bugs (as we do at any hotel) and the woman said “Oh, well you all should have just stayed at the lodge then”. The sink in their room was leaking and they had to place a bucket under it to catch the water. ||Cousin#3: room dirty and there were what appeared to be bed bug stains on the bed. They requested a new room and was provided one. The bed wasn’t as dirty but the room was just as dirty as all the others.||After talking with everyone else they all stated their rooms were dirty. One of them took a shower and put on clean socks which were black within 40 minutes of walking on the floor in the room! Another family member said there were exposed nail strips on the floor which they and their child stepped on!||In conclusion, DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! The customer service and general cleanliness are not even 1 star worthy! Also, there is no breakfast as the website advertises – but I wouldn’t have eaten it anyway after seeing how the place was ran. I don’t know how the board of health hasn’t...

Read moreGet ready to read because my family & I just came back from here. This is a multiple room experience. I'll start with a positive note. If you're looking for a bed to sleep in, they have it. That's the only positive. I cannot promise you a clean bed. Personal experience (without even a one cent reimbursement): *Privacy In less that 8 hours of arrival check- in, management (man & woman) allowed themselves into our rooms while we weren't there. The reason I know this, My son & daughter were in the motel room. They heard them go into my brother's room ( next door). Then, knocked and started to jiggle the handle to get into our room. In turn, terrified my kids, obviously. They're older teens and we were just behind the motel at my Uncles house. We thought they'd be fine. The woman said they did that bc they thought we " abandoned" the rooms. Just paid & less than 8 hours abandonment? Nope. *Roaches when we brought it up to the woman manager she said " we exterminate monthly." We went to show her the evidence of the dead ones and also the live ones we had to kill, she ignored to even look in our direction. cleanliness it's not. Our Family there had 15+ rooms in total this weekend. We all had a complaint. -My socks I only wore them for about 40 minutes after a shower. They were a fresh pair of socks... turned black. -Cousin one: found a needle beside his bed. The woman blamed it on him. cousin one (again): black hair all over the bathroom & nobody in his family has dark hair. Cousin two: arrived with public earlier on the shower walls. The woman blamed it on them. Cousin three: there were carpet strip nails sticking up out of the carpet that him and his little daughter kept stepping on. How many other people stepped on that? Communicable disease or tetanus can come from that. Plumbing our room : we were afraid we'd brake the handle on the flusher. We had to push past resistance to get the toilet to flush. washing our hands: we had to ask management for a bucket under the sink bc the water poured out of the bottom drain anytime we turned the sink on. my brothers room: the toilet had to be plunged with just urine. pricing if u go anywhere in the USA to sleep... 2 queen beds equals up to four people. Not here. You have to pay an additional $35 per person ($70 per night + tax) if you have more than two people in a double queen btw tax there is 20%
I know that's not absolutely everything we experience from this place, but it gives u a good idea of ehat is...
