Waccamaw Pines Campground — Hotel in Whiteville

Great new campground. Still in early stages and with the way RJ runs the park and develops it I can see it going over the top. We needed 50 amp service and RJ did everything he could to make it happen moving us to another site before we arrived. The pull thru site was great with plenty of room. When the front of the site had bad ruts and soft gravel RJ jumped right on it with a grader and fixed the issue. He even sent me a text while I was on the way home asking if I got out successfully. Only 6 miles from the lake. I highly recommend this campground even though it is still a work in progress. We left our home for RV living and moved our Travel Trailer into Laketown Glampings 4th open spot! Got here in the beginning and look forward to the upcoming growth. RJ is available, accommodating, and has a GREAT Vision for this place. Our lot is large. Private and tucked perfectly between some Carolina Pines. Our dogs love walking to the pond and back. New and upcoming campground in Lake Waccamaw. My husband and I have been here since May of 2023. The atmosphere for us, our neighbors, and our pets have been great!
