We love coming here as a family. Very happy the state invested more into this park. However, the lodging units are not being maintained..and it’s only 3-5yrs old! Problems, check-in process after hours and unit’s functions. We checked in after hours, they have a lock box for guest to receive their key card when the desk is closed, no problem right? Until multiple key cards don’t work. At 2am a supervisor drove in to let us into our unit w their key card - didn’t work. The lock had a hard key slot but nobody on call after hours has a metal key as this would’ve solved the problem. Further more supervisor said he wasn’t allowed to have one lol. So they put us in a “spare” room till tue next day. This issues took 1.5hrs to resolve. However as I called several numbers (posted on lobby’s glass door) to resolve this issue, all had been receptive and respectful. There has to be a better way to manage this situation when operating a lodging facility. Suite 201. Stayed her before and loved it. This time around it look unmaintained in at least a dozen areas around the unit. The unit has not been cleaned well as the floor was filthy (we had to put our shoes back on). After asking the front desk this issues was fixed within hour. Secondly, fixtures, sealant/chocking, and paint are coming off in multiple areas of the unit. Sad to see as this build is fairly new (post Covid). Btw, I actually didn’t mind find a lil red bat (see pics) hanging/sleeping from our unit’s duct vents - welcome to eastern Oklahoma! All and all, lots of lack of attention to detail that can depreciate the taxpayer’s/customers experience at this great facility.

Me and the wife spent the weekend here and stayed at the lodge. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. The view from the back of each room is stunning. The backs of each room have their own exit with rocking chairs and a table. We loved watching the sunrise from there with our coffee. They have an outdoor gathering area with tables, lights, and fireplace. I have only two gripes: the pillows are.... the best description I can make is that they are like ziplock bags half filled with air. When you lay your head on them, your head goes flat, and it pushes the air to the sides that squish your face. And they were out of regular coffee. We had to drive into town to get that for our room.

This is a beautiful modern building at the top of the hill. It is now the new location of the park office. Somewhat of an inconvenient relocation. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Magnificent back patio. It would be nice to have some fire pits out there though 🤔 So many cabins! And many are original 😯 however apparently they don't have any amenities so you have to bring everything 😯 As nice as everything is, it's still missing the finishing touches. The gift shop isn't even open in the lobby. There's hardly anybody there. Beautiful table in the lobby and nice areas to sit out on the back patio but there's no restaurant, no food, really nothing to do there but sit 🤷🏻‍♂️

THIS IS A BE AWARE POST BECAUSE WE ARE VERY DISSAPPOINTED. I did NOT want to give any stars at all, I have lived in Wilburton all my life (over 50 years) and we have always loved our state park but I can guarantee I will never do business with them again after the way they have done my daughter. She booked the lodge a year ago for her wedding and was shown everything she would have access to for the venue and the reception which included tables, chairs, kitchen area, etc., the outside venue and inside venue and also booked a couple of rooms for some of the wedding party. Well her wedding is in 2 WEEKS and thank God she happened to call today and found out that the lady she booked with is no longer there, but she was still booked and told we have to provide our own tables and chairs well then my sister called out there to ask more questions and Paige(a new manager) told her we don't have access to anything but the outside area and we had to provide everything and that their rooms are under construction and probably wouldn't be done before time for the wedding...so you would think they'd pick up the phone and call to let my daughter know all this information and when my sister asked her why she didn't let us know she said it wasn't her job and didn't know what to tell us but they aren't providing anything...they were just going to let us and our guest show up the day of the wedding and have nothing and this is very unacceptable behavior especially from a manager or anyone in business. And to talk to people the way she did is very unprofessional. So having to find another venue 2 weeks before the wedding is a very stressful situation and they shouldn't have had to do this. They should have been called the minute they knew they weren't going to provide anything and that the rooms were under construction. Whoever Paige is maybe you need to find a new job since nothing seemed to be your job, especially being a manager. Maybe learn how to talk to people when they are just trying to figure things out after finding out the best day of their lives weren't going to happen the way it was planned to be. They were in love with the venue they booked and looked forward to it so much! To Robbers cave state park maybe really know someone before putting them in a managers position, because Paige ISNT it!!! I pray no one else ever has to deal with this issue and they are honest with you up front but just know Paige don't know what to tell you! She tried to tell my sister they have never provided anything which is a lie, because we have rented this place a time or two before and had access to everything my daughter was offered. So if Paige doesn't know her job just maybe she doesn't need to be in that position!! I do not care who is working there now or before,, this was booked a year ago and it should have been kept to what was agreed upon at the time of booking, or we should've been notified immediately when they knew things were changed. Not sure if Paige will read this but if she does i sure hope you learn to be alittle more compassionate and caring to people !! SO EVERYONE JUST BEWARE AND MAKE SURE YOU GO OVER EVERYTHING YOU WANT!! And now as of today 9-9-25 they want her to pay a cancelation fee for them not holding up their end of the deal. What a joke!! BE WARE WHEN YOU BOOK...

This will be long. SO my wedding was booked for September 13th of 2025. Today, has I write this it is 2 weeks before that date. When I booked the venue for my wedding & Reception the then manager & I agreed on them providing Tables & chairs & that we would be able to use the Lobby to set up a Reception area. That was exactly 1 year ago. Has of today when I called, I was informed that that certain manager was not there anymore and two other ladies would be in charge of this. First of all, I was NOT called to be informed of this information. Second, when I called to make sure everything i was suppose to have with it was still booked I was then told that they would no longer be provided chairs or tables or even the Lobby for my reception. So I was frantically trying to figure something out while my Aunt called back up to the Lodge to get more questions answered. Paige spoke to my Aunt like my Aunt was absolutely beneath her. Telling my aunt that it was basically not her job to call anyone to inform anything (even though shes a manager and that is her job) and that she did not care about anything that was previously agreed upon. If your going to have people in the Manager position maybe y'all should make sure their customer service and people skills are actually good. If the Mangers are the one to see this review, then I hope you have the day & life you deserve because for you to act that way to someone you do not know is absolutely disgusting!! This is 2 weeks before my wedding! If I had not called i would have shown up to absolutely nothing for my guests! We will never do business with this place. Wedding was moved to a new location. If your going to have a wedding venue you need to be able to help provide services for...
