What a fun experience! None of us have ever really ridden a horse. At least not without someone else leading it. 😆 My horse, Ginger, was the prettiest. 😍 She was supposed to be Jason's but I asked for her. Lol Madi rode Doc. Aria rode Buddy. Malachi rode Apache. I rode Ginger. Jason rode Spiderman. The only thing I hated about this was the trail we rode. I felt like there were too many rocks for the horses to walk upon. I was scared one of the horses was going to misstep and break its leg. I'm sure they're fine, but it worried me. Lol

Riding a horse for the first time was SO much fun! I’ve never even been that close to a horse before. The people at Robbers Cave Stables were amazing! We got to pet the horses, meet their sweet dog Punchy, see their new puppies, and just get to know them. It was the BEST 2 hours of the day!! If you’re ever in the area, please go and ride with them. Our horses Spider-Man and Doc were so good and gentle. The horses are very well taken care of and we’re really good on the trails.

We had the absolute best experience! We called ahead with a couple of questions and they were friendly and knowledgeable. When we got there, they were genuinely happy to see us and allowed us to see some of the horses before our ride. They matched us up with horses and were so kind. Our tour guide, McKayla was so sweet and answered all of our questions and gave us tons of information about the area we were riding through. We had such a great time and can't wait to do it again!

Our American Heritage Girls Pioneer and Patriot unit had a fabulous time at Robbers Cave Stables overnight ride and camping event. When we got there, we went for a one hour ride up to the cave. The horses were well trained but still had their own personalities, which makes for an interesting and entertaining ride! We climbed around on the rocks, saw the cave and took some fantastic group pictures with the gorgeous views. All of us got back on the horses for another hour ride back to the campsite. There we had a delicious dinner of smoked chicken, potato salad, and baked beans. After dinner we had the pleasure of listening to Mr. Bean sing cowboy songs and recitate cowboy poetry. There are a couple of hikes that you can take that are not far from camp. One is a blazed trail down to the trappers cabin. The other is an unblazed trail down to the creek. We chose the creek. Everyone had a chance to cool off. Then we got up Sunday morning and had a flavorful breakfast of a cowboy quesadilla followed by very scenic one hour ride back to the stables. I highly recommend this trip for anyone! I was very pleased with Glen and Misty! They made putting this trip together a breeze! They are flexible and their whole family took extremely good care of us. We were lacking for nothing and had a...

My family had a terrible experience here and are extremely disappointed. My wife booked a ride online for noon today and received and email letting us know they had an issue with their booking system and the time we had requested was actually full. She explained that we had an obligation and needed to be home early and inquired about any other times. She was told that there was a 4pm ride available and to show up early and we should be able to get going. We arrived at 3:15 and were told they were running an hour to an hour and a half behind. That meant we were looking at 5 or 5:30 to get on the trail for our 4pm ride which was originally booked as a noon ride. Unfortunately our schedule wouldn’t allow us to wait and after being let down twice by this business I didn’t have much faith in the hour to hour and a half estimate. We were reluctantly given a refund but when you have a broken hearted 7 year old that is in tears, that’s not much consolation. I would steer clear of this stable as they appear to not have a good grasp of the way a business...

I took my 4 year old granddaughter here for an outing. We chose the Bell Star ride. She insisted on riding her own horse. This was the 2nd time she'd been on a horse. The first time was a trail ride as well, but she shared my horse. This time she got her own. I was so impressed. Misty put her next in line & watched her well. Her horse was very tame & well trained. We both had such an enjoyable ride. The owners are kind & knowledgeable. They were our guides. This is a great way to acquaint a child with being on a horse. Their horses are well fed, well trained, & obviously loved. We had...
