Campground is nice, especially the shower house. There are lots of shots for tents in addition to RV. It's nice to have a playground for the kids. Lots of wasps around the nature center, one of which stung my son as he walked out the door to the deck. The nature center itself is nice, though small. We caught some fish at both the lake and the pond. Shoreline could use some rip rap or weed eating because it's hard to fish from shore due to the vegetation. Trails were mowed nicely. Swimming beach was pretty gross, lots of goose poop and a bad stench. My kids ended up with swimmers itch from the water as well. We will likely go back as we had a good time, but definitely avoid certain activities that...

Could of been cleaner and more well taken care of and they need to come around and clean out fire rings .We meet some very nice camper there that camped beside us.Speed limit needs to be informed more cause people drive more that 10 to 15 miles an hour.We was there all Weekend Memorial Day weekend never left once till we pulled out Monday around 11:00 am.the host only cleaned bath 2btime on the days there a scheduled times.also kids need to have light on all bikes or scotters if riding them.Other wise not a bad place to camp. Just think of safety of our kids while have fun camping too.Hste to have a kid hit while there family have a great weekend with family.stated May26,2021...

Tent camping was wonderful here! Clean bathrooms, not too far of a walk either. View was spectacular. Not too busy of a campground which makes for quiet, serene mornings. Nice size spots and was able to find and pay for a spot on a Friday evening without any trouble. Disc golf course was too tight to the water and very challenging. We play a lot and would enjoy this as a challenge course, but not a leisurely or kid-friendly course. Overall was shocked with how nice and quiet the entire park felt. We plan to be back, and have told quite a few friends that they should enjoy the...

Tent camped there two weekends in a row while traveling through the area. It's a very nice campground just a short trip off the highway that has a beach, boat launch, playgrounds, and free showers. Tent lots could have been a bit more level, but they are still very usable. All sites are very reasonably priced. I'm still wondering if there is a tent site A. Stayed at B & C. B was a little bigger, but neither was bad. C would be better for a group, but I had the whole thing to myself. Each tent "site" has multiple lots you can set a tent up at. Photos are from both sites.

The cabin was very nice but you better bring your own sheets and blankets for the beds as well as towels for the shower. Also, the website says you can rent a boat but it turns out that you can’t and we would have known this ahead of time if they would have EVER answered the phone or returned ANY of the three voicemails my fiancé left. The whole reason we wanted to go there was to rent a boat and take my daughter fishing. Very nice cabin but very disappointing fishing from the shore.
