From the start, entrance to the resort was confusing. I went to the the country club entrance as that's where the GPS told me to go. The signs to the registration should be sooner(before the circle). The front desk and the store are open 24 hours a day that was nice. Maintenance was quick to respond to any issues. When issue that was never taken care of was gas leak. Upon entrance to our building there was a strong smell of gas. We reported it someone came over and said they didn't smell anything. The next morning we could smell it through our patio when we opened our doors so we complained again. One worker said they smelled it the other one just missed it again nothing was done. We continue to tell every worker while we were there about the smell pretty sure it was coming from the buildings gas pipes but nobody had any any equipment to read if there was actually a gas leak. They said they were going to get one but they never returned withone. The smell never went away the entire 7 days we were there and that was quite worrisome and annoying. The rooms were big and clean. The kitchen was set up a little weird if you had the cupboard open next to the fridge you could not open the fridge cuz the handle blocks you if you're not paying attention you could break something. Also dishwashers butts up to the wall so you can make a mess out of that awfully quick. The stoves are electric which I hate. The refrigerator and oven and microwave are all full size which is nice. The fireplace is just for looks, it doesn't actually Heat. The patio on my third floor unit didn't have an open bottom which made it feel more limited than the others. The indoor pool was small and pretty cold. The indoor hot tub was the hottest thing I ever couldn't put my foot into. The temperature was at a minimum of a hundred and ten the entire time I was there. It was nice that the pool and hot tub area were open till 11 each night. there is a restaurant I believe it was open till 10 on site but we never visited cuz the prices were high. The fitness room was very nice also open until 11 it came with free headphones if you forgot any. There are on site convenience store has Starbucks coffee for sale. To get a parking spot near your unit you better get back early they fill up fast we ended up near the back of the lot almost nightly. Maybe 5 minutes from the premium outlet mall and Richmond Road which has pretty much everything there. This is not a gated security Site. Anyone can drive in there. This is a non-smoking location but has smoking gazebos in between each unit. There's a bird sanctuary on site so there's a lot of birds to greet you as you leave and enter the building each day. There are a lot of activities for small children. Older children might enjoy the more expensive activities. Be aware they don't accept cash for any activities only credit card or room charge. The outside has grills available with gas so you don't need to bring anything but the meat. They're tricky to use though make sure you turn on the timer because it doesn't say anything about that on the instructions but to turn it on you have to have the timer on. They clean them daily which is also nice. The resort is about 20 minutes from...

OKAY, I HAVE HAD IT!!!!!!!!!!

My family and I arrived at the room, and the first thing I noticed was the smell. It was clear that someone had tried to cover up a foul odor, and the cleaning job appeared very superficial. However, since we had great experiences in the past, we tried not to think too much of it. Then, I found an item left behind by a previous guest—a huge wheel of cheese in a plastic bag—which immediately made me question the overall cleanliness of the room. Still, based on our previous stays, we decided not to jump to conclusions and continued with our stay.

We went for a swim in the indoor pool, which had bugs that we had to push into the filter, and then returned to our room. After putting my daughters to sleep, I turned off the lights in the living room, only to see something hopping around. When I switched the lights back on, I was shocked to discover one of the biggest cockroaches I have ever seen in my life. I immediately went to the front desk, where they offered to move us to another room. However, considering all the cleanliness issues—the smell, the leftover items, a bug on the bath towel, and now a cockroach—we were done and wanted a refund.

The front desk informed me that the manager wasn't available, and they were the only one who could authorize a refund. That was the response I received, and despite this, we left. Later, I was sent a portfolio that documented all the charges, and there appeared to be a credit for half the amount. The front desk person said they had emailed management, who would reach out to me in the morning. When no one contacted me, I didn't think much of it at first, so I called them. Caitlin, at the front desk, answered and said the managers were in a meeting (at 9:00 am).

Since I work in corporate America, I figured they’d be done by 11:00 am, so I called again. Caitlin answered once more, stating she would retrieve the manager for me, but I was unsatisfactorily forwarded to voicemail. I left a message asking the manager to call me back. Not wanting to wait, I called back immediately and was sent straight to voicemail again. This struck me as odd, considering how many people typically staff the front desk, so I called again, and this time I was met with a dial tone. One more call, and my call was finally picked up. At this point, I started to suspect that Caitlin was deliberately ignoring me.

I contacted corporate while my wife called anonymously, and guess who answered the phone? Yes, Caitlin. A manager did call me about an hour later and assured me that everything would be resolved. However, this morning, I found a charge for the full amount. Thanks, Manager! Now, I’m escalating this to the BBB and have already had another call with corporate. I AM BEYOND ANGRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I could give this place a 0, I would. Roaches are the rats of the bug world, and finding one in your room is absolutely disgusting, especially since they leave behind oleic acid, which has a putrid smell. Stay at...

WOW! This place is amazing! My family and I just got back from a week vacation here and it was one of the most fun places we've ever been! We stayed in a King Suite and it was great! First off, the room was so clean. I'm a germaphobe with high standards, so this means a lot coming from me. You could tell they really take care of this place. Even the caulk was new and the grout was cleaned. Most places will have some mildew or mold in corners, but you can tell they keep up with these rooms. Even paint was touched up in places. I appreciate these touches a lot, as it made me feel like this place was clean and safe. The pull out couch our girls slept on was comfy and they slept well. Our King bed was also comfy and the pillows were perfect. There was SO much to do here and we are very grateful for the kind activities staff on hand. Our girls had so much fun. There are three pools; one indoor and two outdoor. The big outdoor pool has a splash play area. There are two big outdoor courts, one for tennis and the other has a volleyball court, basketball court, tetherball, four square, hopscotch, and a giant checkers board. You can sign out balls and rackets from the activities center or rent bikes. There are tons of grilling stations and two shuffleboard courts. Everything was SO CLEAN! I loved the disinfecting wipes all around to clean things. The activities center had such fun kits you could buy for $5 for kids to do. Our girls painted banks, we played Bingo, and did a candy sushi kit. The activities room has a pool table, fuseball table, ping pong table, a room with toys for toddlers, a movie room you can reserve to watch a movie, and three tvs for video games that you can reserve. I couldn't believe the amenities! The resort is immaculately kept and we loved the colonial look of the buildings. There is even a walking trail (but bring your bug spray...our girls got lots of mosquito bites).

I don't even want to nit pick about this place because it was SO amazing and we'd stay here again in a heartbeat. There were a few things I'd recommend they work on. First, while very clean, the furniture in our room could definitely have been updated, as it was a little outdated and old. There were cracks in the kitchen counter and the carpet definitely could be replaced (but it was clean without any big stains or anything...just outdated). Besides needing updating, the biggest concern was the AC unit. Our room was oddly humid. I would set the thermostat down to 62 just to get it to kick on but it wouldn't go down past 68. The problem was it never felt like 68. It would be humid for a bit and then randomly kick on and you'd feel the cold. Then an hour or so later it was humid again. Maybe redoing the AC system? Or putting in a dehumidifier? I hate being sticky (I don't mind being hot) but it was just a sticky feeling most of the time.

Besides those two things, this place was EXCELLENT and we already...
