While checking in i probably heard at least 30 cuss words. The receptionist said "she doesn't care if my husband and I get down like dogs as long as we put a towel behind the headboard" I was pretty shocked that someone would say something like while checking into a hotel.||After check in i had a small chat with the people next door about the rooms being so small and they " joked about having thier children sleep in their car at night"||I also witness 4 children under the age of 13 sleeping in a suburban outside next to my room and they were using the restroom outside while their parents were peacefully sleeping in the room.. I admittedly notified the manager and he said he has know the family for a long time so it was ok.    Read moreI booked a room at this place through hotels.com around 9.3 day of check-in and fully paid online. I arrived around 11:30pm. Upon arrival I discovered stop the front desk is closed. I phoned the number posted on the door.
Manager John, being rather rude and sarcastic advised that they close at 8 and that I cannot check. He made numerous comments, to the effect that I didn't bother to call them first.
Well I made a book on line it went through, payment went through. I received an email from them that booking is confirmed and no confirmation in needed. in any event I checked in and Ramada nearby. I called hotels.com request a refund which they approved.
I would have to wait for refund to go through for 30 days however because of incompetence of management of this property.

   Read moreI stayed one (1) night, July 2, 2014, at Aspen Lodge. Upon receiving my invoice at checkout I saw that I had been charged for two (2) nights. The man behind the counter claimed to be the Manager. He acknowledged the double charge, but he said he did not know how to credit my Visa. He told me he would have his bookkeeper credit my account later that afternoon.He told me to call him, if I didn't see the credit on my statement. That should have been my first clue!||||Today is 12/01/14. In the past five (5) months I have made six (6) calls to Aspen Lodge requesting a refund/credit. Do I need to go on?
