I was on a business trip working in the area. There was a nice desk and chair I could work and eat off of. Not big, but doable. And enough to get my work done. There were no pots and pans for the cook top. You had to bring your own or buy some. Wifi was not that strong, but enough for a video. And you did not have to sign in every day. Loved that a lot. In fact, there was no sign in. I was pleasantly surprised by the condition of the rooms. Everything worked and looked new. And the shower was very nice. Hot water and a good nozzle. I was on the road side and the noise was not that bad. Once I got the air conditioner fan on, I did not notice the road traffic at all. The air conditioner worked perfectly. The tv was a decent size and had a decent channel selection. Free coffee for the room and often coffee made near the elevator. There were Venetian blinds and a window shade that was the best light blocker I had ever seen in a room. Wonderful. Hate light coming into the room. The bed was comfortable. The people at the desk were nice and accommodating. The place was about 4 miles from a Walmart and some places to eat. Nothing within walking distance. But the Love truck stop was about a mile down the road away from town with several things to eat. The only negative was a clicking noise that took place when the guy above me took an early morning shower. My guess is that the drain pipe would expand and rub against something making noise. I did get awakened a couple of times with that noise. Hard to do anything about it. The price was decent for the area. Wish it had been closer to places to eat, but driving into Williston was not that hard. I do...
Read moreI think it should have been made clear that normal hotel services like daily housekeeping, trash removal, blow dryers, towels, small toiletries, etc... were not part of the rate quoted when I booked this hotel. I had no idea that this is, what I was told, called a "man camp" hotel. I came to Williston to visit family that live there. I brought my 4 year old granddaughter. Nice to have a kitchenette but it was pretty useless without utensils, pots & pans, etc...I couldn't have brought them in my suitcase on the airplane. On the Sunday night of my stay there, the entrance was blocked off by the police. There were lots of other police vehicles there too.My niece was bringing me back at about 10:15pm and we were not allowed in nor would I have wanted to go in with all of that happening. When I called the hotel no one answered. I called the police finally. After a couple of hours the police said it was "probably" save to go back. I had to take medicine that was in the room. Finally I went back & put my young granddaughter to sleep. I did not get sleep that night. There were loud disturbances twice that night that kept me awake. (The other nights were very quiet). No one at the hotel or police department would tell me what the big search was about. Scary! The night clerks were wonderful to my granddaughter. She loved ringing the little bell. If I had known what to expect, I would be giving the higher scores. [Review collected...
Read moreTerrible , Terrible experience. Staff is the worst . Never at desk to help because they were smoking cigarettes outside with friends and never to be found . I was there for over 5 months and they never knew my name until I complained for fundamental things like getting my room cleaned after months of stay. Asked when they would get new housekeeper and basically laughed in my face. Changed rooms like 4 times because of heater failure. Pricing was a scam also. Checked out for thanksgiving holiday for a few days considering my house is only a few hours away. Returned to full pricing with no sympathy or consideration of prior months of stay. Asked to talk to management and never returned my request. Only conversation was initially when I was considering where to stay for work. Reginal manager told me everything I wanted to hear and failed to even have a conversation after months of stay. Very disrespectful. Walls in Hotel are paper thin , Staff would put others next to me for no reason considering It is peak Covid 19 and hotel is almost empty. I don't get it . This was my real experience and really do not like to waste my time on cancel culture reviews but this had to be shared. If you Value something as simple as customer service and respect this is not the place. There are more options in town that I am sure that would be better than this. I would not recommend this place for my...
