ROAD NOISE, campground is 50 yards from I-80, closer than mose rest areas are to their interstate, so loud you can't hear yourself think. My spot was the closest to the interstate, maybe spots father away could be quieter but probably not much ELECTRIC, my 30amp service was OK, but its straight wired into their grid with no breaker, yes I have a surge protector but I fell more safe under a breaker box like every campground I've stayed at (36 states) PAD, my camper pad was unlevel gravel that I had to drive across 50' of grass to get into (spot E15), thank the lord it wasn't raining. The rest of the campground i can not give a fair review for i did not use it. It may be 5 star for some but with the road noise probably not. I have only given a two star review 2 times in my travels, most of my reviews are 4 or 5 star I've been to all the states west of the Mississippi (accept Alaska) and to all the eastern states except the New England ones and I always try to be fair to the campground owner in my reviews, but I believe in being truthful. The price was very reasonable and it is a beautiful looking, well maintained Campground.

This was our last night on our family vacation out west. Starting from home in michigan to glacier national park. This was our 14th campground! Whew are we exhausted and had tons of fun! First off it was nice this campground was right off the highway. Easy on easy off. Yes, loud but that was to be expected given the location. After setting up our tent we headed to the showers. Which where way farther away than we had anticipated all the way back where we had checked in at. Not ideal considering your walking in wet shower shoes on a dirt road. But, I will say we did have some friendly folks I'm assuming seasonal helped direct us to the showers. My husband is a huge disc golfer and had hopes to throw a few before hitting the road...the nets are not ideal. He didn't even know where to start. Disc golf is a great way to bring campers in. We didn't plan on doing a fire last night and it's a good thing because our fire pit was full of cans and some trash. All in all it was a good experience just needs some matinence and more showers.

I cannot stress enough not to stay here under any circumstances. This is the first RV park I have stayed in over the last 40 years where it is impossible to see or talk to anyone running the place. Everything is done online, and if you have questions, you must text the owners because they won't answer their phones.||||Booking online doesn't allow you to determine what kind of site you will receive. Most sites are not level, all are gravel and dirt, and the RV sites are located roughly 50 feet from I-80, meaning the two nights we stayed here, we got no sleep due to the noise. Every other site is reversed to the one next to it, meaning you will drive in from a different direction and hookup facing the opposite way from your neighbor. There was no warning that the water pressure is high enough to blow out some RV plumbing.||||This is a back country park that attempts to be worth its $50 per night price tag by offering swimming, mini-golf, and playground areas. They tout a dog park, but it is over ¼ mile walk from the RV sites, making it impossible to walk your dog off leash unless you want to pile the pups in the car and drive them to the park. They demand you pick up after your dog, which we do religiously, but give you no poop bags to use or trash cans to put the waste in. The only place to put your trash is one set of dumpsters at the back end of the campground, a fairly long walk for most RVers.||||All this would have garnered a two-star rating from me, but another star had to be deducted because of false advertising. In the website rules and procedures, the same form they send you in an email explaining all the rules you must follow to avoid being kicked out at their discretion, it states that a 10% Good Sam discount will be given when you show your membership card at the office upon arrival. There is never anyone at the office, so you can't show your card to anyone. I texted the owners and asked how to receive the discount, and was told this is no longer a Good Sam park and no discount is offered. I told the owner in a subsequent text that the offer needed to be removed from the rules if it wasn't going to be offered, and the only reply I received stated the discount wasn't supposed to be there. I suggested they could be sued for false advertisement, and was told in response they would give me the 10% discount as a one-time courtesy, but I haven't seen it yet, and probably won't. ||||When you pick up your "packet" from the window at the office, you are required to sign a waiver that releases the owners of all possible liability, including anything they may do in a negligent manner that could harm to you, your family, pets, or camping equipment including your RV. I refused to sign the form. For reasons such as this, I suggest never staying at Cedar...

Also known as Hunts Cedar River Campground . We have been camping here for over 17 years. The new owners that bought the campground in 2022 are not nice people (swearing all the time!). They are hot heads and liars. They have gotten rid of over 40 plus seasonal families in the 12 months it has been in operation in their care. All for different reasons and made up stories that Melissa makes out of one small truth. They keep your money and re-rent the seasonal site in some cases. In many cases deposits are never given back either. Quiet hour is not followed with loud music and karaoke on the river all hours of the night. Labor Day Weekend they played until 2 - 2:30 in the morning waking my grandkids up 3 different times. The newest rule they made is nobody can access the Cedar River from their banks UNLESS you use their son's float business. Because as the owner said "We have to make money some how!" The weekend after Labor Day they had a sock hop which people were doing shots of Fire Ball. One man who had to much to drink loaded his golf cart with kids and that golf cart ended up in the Cedar River with kids being taken out by ambulance to the hospital. We knew then we were pulling our camper out for sure. Nothing but drama BUT the owners will tell you that those 40 plus families were the drama! Before you camp here look Al & Melissa Zweerink up. Look at all the reviews on the different camping sites from the past 2 summers. Its so sad to see such a beautiful place run...

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!|I would've given ZERO stars if that was an option!||My family has camped here for many years, and it was recently sold to new owners. These owners, Melissa Zweerink & her husband, have been incompetent to running a business. They feel it is okay to uproot families that have permanent camping spots with trailers, just because they don't like the way it looks. But they want to keep one of them so their son can live in it. Fair, right? If they don't like the type of music you play, you're getting kicked out. If they don't like the way you look in their direction & don't smile or wave, you get kicked out because you "intimidate them." Let's not forget you are being kicked out without getting your money back whatsoever.||The mini-golf course is run-down, the swimming pool is green because they don't properly take care of it (nice health hazard for all the young kids who just want to swim & have fun).. so many things that as a BUSINESS OWNER, you should be more concerned about other than what kind of music is being played, whether someone smiles at you or not, and whether or not you "like the way something looks." This is supposed to be a place for families to come and relax and have a good time. These new owners have ruined that...
