I did not like showing up at a hotel that dominantly rents rooms to people with dogs. I showed up, my room was comfortable, and the dog next door kept barking and barking and barking. It was a day of a storm (July 2)and I was trying to get sleep after being awake for almost the whole 24 hours. I had worked at work for 12 hours, and I had a 10-hour trip to the hotel. The hotel manager, Trudy, did move me to another room and again there was dogs on that floor as well. I'm going to really have to think about this next time when I book at this hotel. The other consideration is there was a full tourist bus of young ladies who were there on some type of retreat and they were very noisy. They were uncontrolled as they ran, jumped and yelled through the hallways. I was quite delighted when they left the next day. The hotel itself has plenty of parking. It only has one elevator and two stairwells. The hallways and common spaces were very clean. Both rooms I as assigned were immaculately clean and wonderful. Thank you to the hotel staff who takes care of that stuff. The breakfast was a little light on hot proteins. I felt that from my price, it should have had a little bit more choices other than eggs and sausage everyday. They have yogurts, lots of pastries, a waffle machine, breads and cereal type things for those who like carbs. Coffee was weak but available 24/7. At the time I was there, there was a group that was out back gambling with lots of physical money by the poolside while barbecuing. I kind of felt that was inappropriate, so that leaves me a concern about the security. The pool and hot tub themselves were very clean and well maintained. There are no real restaurants that you can go to close by to this location. And on the holiday (July 4) there was little to nothing you could travel to unless you went to the Belgrade lakes to get something to eat. Walmart and Tractor Supply are the main shopping staples here. The hotel is located next to a hospital and close and a few gas stations. The people I like to recognize at this hotel, Stacy, Trudy and Clifford for being resourceful and managing the hotel for its customer service and maintenance. I'm sure there's lots more people that help out at this hotel but these are the three people I was mainly in contact with when...
