BellaVida Bed and Breakfast Retreat Center — Hotel in Wimberley

My two daughters-in-law, a friend and I stayed at BellaVida for two nights on our girls' trip. The only room available when I booked our trip was the Denton suite. It slept four people comfortably although the room was not as large as some of the other rooms. It really didn't matter though because we were able to relax in the living areas of the house so we really only used the room for sleeping. The house is located less than 10 minutes from the heart of Wimberley where we enjoyed wandering through all of the boutiques, shops and art galleries. Steve and Belinda offered some excellent suggestions for restaurants and the breakfast was outstanding. We especially appreciated the refrigerator for guests to use which included free bottled water, soft drinks and even ice cream. And snacks were provided if we needed anything. I cannot praise this place enough. Belinda and Steve are the nicest hosts you'll ever meet. We stayed in their suite Divine which was beautifully decorated. Belinda asked us before hand if we liked wine and they left us a bottle of red wine with a personalized message because I mentioned that my husband likes red wine. Belinda is a wonderful cook. She made delicious breakfasts for us every morning and even gave us her recipes! Their dog Gracie and cat Bella are incredibly sweet. The chickens and the duck are a delight too! I used to go running on the trails on their property, it was very quiet and peaceful. After my run, I loved relaxing on the porch swing in front of suite Divine. They have so much of porch area! My husband and I were looking for a long weekend getaway from the big city and were so happy that we found Bella Vida! We have stayed in many B&B's both in the USA and overseas and found this particular one to be the very best. From the moment you enter the property you feel welcome, and at peace.. Everything is so clean and fresh. The way the house and property are decorated is phenomenal and the rooms are stocked with everything you would need to make an excellent stay. The breakfasts were fabulous ( felt like a 5 star restaurant!) and the table settings were always different and beautiful. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms quiet. Belinda and Steve seem to have thought of everything! We will definitely be back and will also have to check out their new property located in New Braunfels....
