Lookout Ridge Retreat — Hotel in Wimberley

We stayed at Lookout Ridge Retreat to celebrate our dad’s 60th birthday, and it was absolutely perfect for our family. The property is gorgeous, with incredible views and tons of space to relax, play, and make memories together. From the moment we arrived, it felt like our own private resort!

The Lodge and the Retreat were both super comfortable and well-stocked with everything we needed—honestly, the houses had so much already there, which made everything so easy. The pool, hot tub, fire pit, and game room kept everyone entertained from morning till night. We especially loved the shuffleboard and arcade games in the game room, and evenings by the fire pit were magical.

The location was great—just a short drive to Wimberley Square and Blue Hole, but tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. And the hosts were the best—so responsive, friendly, and helpful the whole way through.

We really can’t wait to come back again. It was the perfect spot for such a special celebration, and we’re so grateful for the memories...
