
NOT FOR THE BEGINNER ATV OR WEEKEND RIDER....several problems ...Reserved a camp spot....got there 2 truck & trailers was parked in my reserved area.....(even thou we all have to give phone numbers) was ask if couple spots down would be ok....because no way to reach them to get them to move...or no one she could send out to find them to get them to move ...even thou she had already discovered they were in a reserved spot before we arrived....( they wasnt even camping just riding $16 for whole day ).we put $30 .00 up front to reserve spot...then the replacement spot we got NO ELECTRIC OR WATER...when I called 45 min later when we discover it.....already closed....left voicemail no callback.....another worker came thru by chance telling of the band playing that night.....we informed her....she was good enough to come back said we could move to spot 1-5...someone already in 1...3...5...& their stuff parked in 2-4...SO WAS RATHER upsetting......then no light in women bathroom stall or over sink area...only in shower stall.....gauze thin toilet paper....no outdoor garbage cans... trails shut down @ 11pm....riders riding around campground 1:00 in morning....light bars gleaming....NO REVIEW OF RULES FOR CAMPERS....& biggest mistake.... we decide to ride ATV ...second day we was there......was assured trails clearly MARKED...lol.....paid...& ask for a map ....WHEW that was a joke....kept asking for easier trail...do NOT want no rock crawling.....me and my husband...me 55 & he was celebrating his 60th birthday.....LET ME MAKE THIS CLEAR....alot of ROCKS...STRAIGHT DOWNHILL...STRAIGHT UPHILLS....mud bogs 4 ft deep....would of been nice if was told this whole trail....was excessive no easy trail for sight seeing....picture taking....we have a Polaris 570 ranger...drug the bottom out over 20 times ....mud up to tops of tires....not for faint of heart.....& alot of intersections NO SIGNS....beautiful area....BUT MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR IN FOR WHEN...

There is no water 50% of the time. Comes on...goes off. Anywhere from 20 minutes to 3 1/2 HOURS. yes, that's right. And it is off at some point everyday ! You never know when. #2...no trash on site, NONE. You have to make an appx. 4 mile round trip to a community center / trash dumpster on your own. #3.. NO laundry on site. NONE. This is a 24, TWENTY FOUR, mile round trip to do just a load. #4..the bath house (??) only has half working and on the non-equestrian side it is disgusting ! BY the way, if you are in the 70's area spots, the distance is appx 1/8 mile. Really nice in cold weather. #5 Not listed until you get there.... ABSOLUTELY NO ELECTRIC HEATERS. Period ! #6... #7...four wheelers, side by sides, cars truck ,you name it are coming by at just about all hours. Youir RV site is only 10-15 feet from the main road and Don't let the online pics fool you. The mudbogs and trails and 4 wheelers are there money makers, NOT YOU. We actually left 3 weeks early on a monthly reservation just to get water service. No refund was offered no partial, nothing other than "oh well, i'm sorry. One more..the site (#71) was in terrible shape....trash, de-laminated wood, roofing boards/nails old plywood and EXTREMELY close. Roads are muddy, sites are sandy/muddy and park markings are nil to none. The fence seperating your rv from road is actually falling in, boards missing and held up by t-posts. I could go on but this Review is really long but you need to know the truth. Not just "phone Kindness". Honest, truthful and a big regret. Go down the road to Tims Ford , Fairview park or main park. Heck Wal Mart Dry Camping would be an Upgrade....
