Bromley View Inn — Hotel in Winhall

Don't sleep on Bromley view, book your trip now! I am late writing this review, but I cannot say enough positive things about Bromley View Inn. Last year, my husband and I were looking for a location where we could host all of our guests for our small wedding, and fell upon Bromley View. We were put in contact with the inn keeper, Erin, who allowed us to tour the property, look at the rooms, and figure out how we were going to transform the inn to fit the needs of our party. The weekend of our wedding, our guests were greeted with personalized room keys, treats, and warmth from Erin and the crew at Bromley View. We got to rent out the entire inn for the weekend and during what would normally be a time of chaos, my husband and I were able to spend quality time with our friends and family under one roof. We were able to bring in a catering company, extra furniture, and were able to truly make it the main spot for our Vermont wedding party. It was such a unique and fun twist on a wedding celebration, and exactly what we were looking for.|The inn is located in between Stratton and Bromley mountains, with easy and quick access to both. It has a lounge area with a bar that is so spacious, cozy, and feels like home. The deck area is expansive, overlooking Bromley mountain and the view is STUNNING. Beyond that, the property is scattered with lawn chairs, fire pits, string lights, and a hot tub. The rooms are clean and comfortable, offering unique layouts to accommodate different needs for different families: king size beds, queen size, rooms that accommodate a family of 6, etc. All of the people who work at the inn are so knowledgeable about the area and willing to provide directions or recommendations about things to do, places to go/eat. Our friends and family could not stop talking about their stay, all expressing how excited they were to come back up for another visit. We felt safe, comfortable, and well taken care of over that weekend.|A year later, my husband and I have made it our tradition to go back to Bromley for a night to celebrate our anniversary. When we walked into the room we were met with chocolates, cheese/crackers, a bottle of wine, and a personalized note congratulating us. Bromley View Inn offers such a unique experience for an event, but even if you are just staying for the night, it feels like home and family. Stop the press! I've just discovered the hidden gem of accommodations - Bromley View Inn! This place is so amazing, I had to pinch myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming.

First off, let's talk about the staff. They're like a team of magical unicorns, sprinkling kindness and hospitality wherever they go. They greeted me with smiles that could rival the sun and made me feel like royalty. I even had to remind myself that I wasn't a celebrity!

The rooms at Bromley View Inn are like fluffy clouds in a sea of comfort. The beds are so cozy, I wondered if they were filled with marshmallows. And the cleanliness? Impeccable! I could have eaten off the bathroom floor (but I didn't, because that would be weird).

But let's not forget about the food. Oh, the food! The breakfast spread at Bromley View Inn was like a buffet straight out of a food lover's dream. It's a good thing they don't charge by the pound because I basically had roll myself out of there after!

This is an unusual place. More of a ski lodge in the winter months, and for the rest of the year a slightly quirky B&B. First off it is very isolated, about 5 miles from the nearest shop or restaurant. When we visited the bar was closed due to recruitment difficulties; fortunately we had planned ahead and had a good lunch, and also bought something for supper, but still needed to pop out for a few cans of beer.|I believe the Inn is under new management, as some of the information we received since booking it last year has been a bit contradictory. As with many New England B&B's, there was no-one on site to ask.|All that having been said, we had a nice room with a lovely view of the mountains, a shared deck to sit out on in the early evening, and a good sized common room and dining room to relax in. |The other guests were fairly quiet, although our experience might have been different if they weren't.
