Enjoyed a fantastic pheasant hunting getaway at this outstanding lodge & scenic property. The hunting was exceptional with well managed, picturesque surroundings, plenty of birds, expert, knowledgeable guides & top notch bird dogs. The hunting operation was professional & efficient, with a emphasis on safety while still making the experience relaxed & enjoyable. Accommodations were modern, clean & comfortable, the meals were delicious & refreshments plentiful. However, the most outstanding & unique aspect of our experience was the genuine kindness & hospitality which we were shown by the truly exceptional family who own & run this lodge. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome & comfortable from the minute we walked in the door & throughout our visit. Wonderful trip with a small group of best friends. We came for 3 nights early season. From our arrival which was late and keeping a plate of dinner warm for us until we left, the Springer family and their team were just wonderful. We stayed in one of the cabins, had everything you need from comfortable bed, to small kitchen, well stocked with drinks. We brought our own beverages however that was definitely not needed. Weather went from high of 104 Thursday to high of 54 on Friday and we got to see and shoot lots of birds. Dillon, Marshall, Colleen, Rachel all class acts. Made us feel at home. You won't go hungry or thirsty. You will get lots of birds. Great dogs. There were two large groups that came in and stayed in the main house, yet still plenty of room to come in and hang out after a long day. Five stars...

Buffalo Butte is hands-down the best hunting destination we've ever experienced. Dillon and his team are exceptional hosts, making sure every detail is taken care of so we could focus on enjoying the hunt. The pheasant hunting here is on a whole other level—absolutely thrilling and truly rewarding. And the meals? Simply incredible. Every bite was delicious, and the level of service made us feel right at home.

We also got to do some long-range target shooting, which added an extra layer of excitement to the trip. It was such a unique experience, and we had a blast!
