I'll let it speak for itself. Well, unfortunately, I have been forced to come back and share my latest business experience with this RV park. When I first applied to stay past 30 days the requirements become as if you will be renting a dwelling ie. credit check time. So I share that my credit became challenging due to the lengthy process that SSDI/SSI drags you through even when you are new with cancer. I offered out in good faith that I would be willing to provide a Security Deposit as long as it was refunded upon future departure in the next several months. Of course, as long as I was current with my agreed rental fees I was assured I absolutely would be. Great.. So they requested $500 bucks for 50ft. of DIRT wooooow!! I pay. 4 months later I'm scheduled to leave for 3 weeks to get some upgrades done for an easier living before I get deep into my cancer treatment. I notify management of departure date and probable return date and request to be able to rent the same space upon return. I left the 3rd week of the month with rent pain in full. 10 days later I fell very ill and was hospitalised for 3 months. When I was healthy enough to leave I checked my financial accounts and there still was no return of my $500 Security Deposit for the 50ft. of DIRT No legal standing for withholding monies for 3 months. I contact management advising them to return funds to my bank card that they had on file that day. Not only have they NOT responded to 6 straight days of 7 requests demanding funds be returned immediately they to this day still have NOT returned my money or acknowledge contact!!!!! Really...Unbelievable!!!!!! so off to small claims court I go. It's exactly how I want to juggle my time during my cancer treatment. Soooo do you think you would want to reside there??? Pictures can not only be deceiving but used for false advertisement so what do they tell us????........ buyer beware!. I'll return with...
Read moreThis place was terrible. We drive from the San Diego area to Bend, OR and the halfway point is Sacramento. There are not many options to pick from if you are just looking for an overnight stop. Everything was booked except this place. I made a reservation, "with reservations" bc of all the bad reviews. ||||The owner wouldn't give me a site number over the phone. He said, "I'd be given the site # when we arrive." We pulled up and the office was closed. I called the owner and left a message that we didn't know where to go. There was no note for us. We drove through the park and were scared to get out of our bus, let alone stay the night. Most, if not all, were permanent residents. I'm not criticizing anyone who lives in an RV park...my own grandmother did for some time. It was the looks we were getting and how incredibly run down the place was that made us keep on driving...||||There is no Golf Resort. It is, literally, the most run down RV park we have ever seen. ||||We called Happy Times, a few mins. away, and the lady there squeezed us in and was very friendly. ||||Just a side note: We stay in the most beautiful campgrounds in OR for sometimes $10 and this place was...
Read moreI have stayed at this park several times as I come up and down the California I-5 Freeway a few times a year. First observation is that Trip Advisor should update the name - it is not an RV Golf Resort or a Hotel. It is "Campers Inn RV Park" . The Golf course was closed several years ago for redevelopment that apparently has not occurred yet. As for as the park goes, it is a long termer RV Park with a few overnight spaces for people who need to stay short term. They have clean bathroom & laundry facilities, big pull through RV spaces, a dog run, and a convenience store (just went out of business). It is filled with mostly retired people from what I could see, trade workers, and working couples trying to save money according to the manager. I have never had any problems at this park and have recommended it for the weary overnighter. They are no longer in the RV Resort Business, but have been a good place for me to stay over night when I am tired of driving and need a place...
