The Steiners' soon to be three generations of family are wonderful stewards of this land, which is conveniently located between Nashville and Berlin, Ohio. Hosts are communicative and lovely people. I had a wonderful conversation with the Aunt on my way out to work Saturday morning and stayed from Friday night to Monday to work at the first annual Mohican Bigfoot Festival in Loudonville, Ohio with From the Shadows Podcast based out of Bucyrus, Ohio. I traveled six hours from undeveloped Rappahannock County, Virginia.

This property is about 30 minutes east of Loudonville. I chose this location because of the Jacuzzi bathtub and hot tub given I travel with two connective tissue conditions, Lipedema and hEDS, and need aqua therapy when they act a fool in my body. I will not stay in a hotel, AirBnB, or any rental that doesn't have a bathtub.

I stayed here because the prices were identical to the hotels closer to the event. Full transparency, I hope the Mohican event guests book the entire property next year. I enjoyed being on their property that much. I just wish my body felt better to enjoy exploring it Sunday and Monday versus recovering from Saturday.

The hot water is never ending. The family is there for anything you need. The pastures, flower farm business, and farm animals reminded me of life in Rappahannock. The shades around the deck and hot tub are a wonderful touch, as is the ease of use of the shades and curtains inside the cabin. The fireplace was easy to use. Dishes drying rack, soap and sponges are provided under the sink. Laundry detergent and blow dryer are in the bathroom closet (as is a pack n play kind of set up for a little one), living room side table and fold out extra table for use outside or elsewhere is also in the...

This is my favorite place to stay near Berlin Ohio.We have always stay in the Memory Cove house and it fits all our wants. Great bed, outdoor fire pit for open fires and cooking, very nice bathroom, small kitchen but has air fryer in over and everything you need for a short stay, outdoor glass fireplace that is more for enjoying not so much warmth, hot-tub, sofa is comfortable snd TV is big enough for us. We don’t come to Amish country to cook or watch tv. The grounds are well kept and watching cows and goats are relaxing. They have a lake with fishing and there is a pavilion but we haven’t went down to it in the two years we have stayed there. But hope to next year. Very peaceful. Now you do hear road traffic even though it’s probably 200 yards away but we live near a road and a railroad track so this doesn’t bother us. You don’t see many buggies but we like how close it is to Berlin to shop and eat. The story of the owners is heartwarming and we just feel they are wonderful, good hearted people wanting to continue their families dreams. They understand Gods plan for us all to provide by working hard for our families. They help others by renting these houses to visitors so everyone can enjoy this wonderful area to visit and learn the Amish/ Mennonite ways. Even though we haven’t stayed in any other cabins they look fine if you like the log cabin look and some are in the more private wooded areas. Great memories and have already booked...

This was our second time staying at Memory Cove at Tranquil Acres. We had another great experience here and will definitely be returning. The property is beautiful. They have goats, cows, and their dog Luna. We were lucky enough to check in right after a momma cow had her baby- she was still cleaning baby off! Quiet and peaceful location. The owner checked on the baby calf and stopped to talk to me- friendly guy and he taught me a little bit about their animals. This property is located just minutes from Berlin- which was a great spot to spend the day. The cabin was extremely clean and well stocked. They even have a few bottles waters, a small white milk, and a couple bags of chips there for the guests. We enjoyed the hot tub each morning and at the end of the day. This cabin has a gas fire pit on the patio by the hot tub as well as an actual fire pit with a grill top to cook on. They even leave firewood! There is also a gas grill. Perfect spot for a getaway. Only thing missing is a...

We absolutely loved our 3 night stay in the Tulip Poplar Cabin. The Cabin was super clean & well stocked. We loved that the fire pit stocked with wood & had a cooking grate, the hot tub was a nice touch, we appreciated the snacks & coffee that were provided, the property was so peaceful & quiet, the pond is beautiful loved seeing all the turtles and fish, & the owners are always there if you need anything. Myself I really appreciated having a vacuum and brooms on both the back and front porches. Also wanted to mention that we had a daily visit from the sweetest little dog. Hopefully she will be there on our next visit. We have already made 2 more reservations to stay at Tranquil Acres Cabins later this year. Make your reservation you won’t be sorry!
