River Trail Crossing — Hotel in Worthington Township

Let's start with the good. It is right next to the best walking/ bike paths we have ever been on. Not sure if it's a county, state, or federal initiative but what a great idea. Converting old unused rail lines unti these paths. |This is a very small park, 40' was pushing it. My guess is there are only 40 sites. And maybe 6 sites with full hookup. Several sites along the creek, but not enough power and no sewer, maybe 2 trees for shade. We travel ohio several times and we depend on reviews. The reviews I read were misleading. How it has a 4 star review is beyond me. There is no store, no information on the park or the surrounding area, no rules, regulations nothing like we are use to. We called several times prior to arrival and left messages but no return call. A permanent resident came out and let us know the owners were on their way to check us in? The woman was very nice when she arrived and that was the last time we saw her. The full timers will make you aware of what the"rules" are so don't worry. 2 washers and dryers, 1 dryer doesn't work well. ( from the resident)|If you are looking for a campground that has nearly all permanent, campers, not ada accessible, no store for miles no tv stations, no internet, no cable. This is for you. Not us. They should invest some money and take advantage of those bike paths, maybe also put in a beach or at least a way to get into the creek. I’m not sure what it is, but I love this campground. It’s homey! It’s quiet and quaint. I think my family may have been the only source of noise here these last few days. I’m not sure if we have been speaking with the owner or just someone who works here but she is so super sweet and makes the place feel like paradise! VERY welcoming! There we some things that desperately need upgrading like the laundry/bathhouse and the swing set area. The Wi-Fi breaks my heart hahaha. Very hard being a full time student and homeschooling mom when the internet is subpar. But we made it work! I swear..if I ever run into a good bit of money, I will help upgrade this place because I think it’s a gem! It's a no frills campground. Small but priced right. Our stay was super quiet which is what we look for in a campground. There are seasonals. Loosely operated but but saw no issues. Owners are friendly. Sites all seem to be large and plenty of trees for shade. Nestled between a creek and cornfield. Have seen rabbits and a deer. A walking trail we didn't have time to use.
