I booked an accessible room with a roll-in shower at this hotel. I am a wheelchair user and need a roll-in shower. I called the hotel after making the booking through their website to confirm that the bathroom had a roll-in shower at this property. I was told that it does.
I called the day before I was supposed to check-in to confirm that the bathroom had a roll-in shower and again, I was told that it does and I am all set. When I arrived at the property in the evening to check-in, guess what I find in the bathroom? A tub! I talked to the staff at front desk, he was less than helpful. Basically, had the attitude that it was not his problem to fix. He said that this property does not even have a room with a roll-in shower! He had me talk to his manager, Ryan, on the phone and this person is basically telling us that there's nothing he can do. We asked if there were any such rooms available at their sistr resorts. After waiting for 1.5 hrs to see if they could put us up at a different property, we were told by Ryan that he could book us at a sister resort for only 2 nights of our 3-night stay. What were we supposed to do for the 1 night? I ultimately found a different hotel that actually had a roll-in shower and availability and we moved there. They did refund us, which was the bare minimum...
Read moreStayed here for a week the 2nd week of June. We were greeted by a lovely lady at the front desk who checked us in. She gave us all the info we needed to settle in. Our room was on the second floor overlooking the pool. The grounds were in great shape and weel kept/ The bed was a little to soft my taste but that's a preference of mine and it wasn't uncomfortable. The room was clean and roomy. The biggest problem we had was that the shower head was awful. Not enough warter pressure on one setting, and it came out like a garden hose on the other setting. Also, the continental breakfast wasn't very good. So-so coffee, prepackaged muffins, cakes and breads for toast. Just a few bananas for fruit. The pool looked nice but it was too chilly for swimming when we were there. The hotel is off the beaten path so it's nice and quiet. It's a 5-10 minute ride to downtown Yarmouth so everything is easily accesible. We found it was worth the extra ten minute drive to Hyannis where the downtown area had nice shops and restaurants. It's also right next to a great par 3 golf course that we enjoyed playing. There are a few great golf courses located less than ten minutes away. All in all the hotel is a nice place to stay and the friendly people who work therre make it an enjoyable...
Read moreWe arrived the property approximately 2 hours before check in time. Since we had an electric cooler we asked if we could possibly check in early. The receptionist (Jose was very professional and accommodating. ). As it turned out he was the only positive thing about our experience there. We were given room 108. Located as far away from the parking area as possible. Upon entering there was an unpleasant musty smell . I was astounded that the room was actually below ground. The room was similar to something you would get off an interstate for $49.95. The breakfast was a joke. Packaged sweet rolls and muffins with an offering of froot loops or raisin bran.(I'm not kidding). No coffee maker or microwave in the room. It was difficult to sleep because the air-conditioning in the adjacent room kept cutting on and off. I'm a flight attendant with over 46 years of experience, needless to say I have stayed in thousands of hotel rooms. Honestly this place was among the worst. Avoid it...
