Hello,|| This hotel is unsanitary, the management is rude , mean, miserable, and very unhelpful. As. Soon as they take your money you realize it was a mistake. I paid for a week in advance and then after that she told me my room would only be cleaned once a week and I had to watch her clean it between the hours of 9am to 10am completely inconsiderate of my schedule with absolutely no regard to work with my schedule so my room wasn't cleaned! Then she would only give me one clean towel and rag and sheet the entire stay, even though I was sick and needed clean linens more than once, like I said no regard for anyone. Then she told me if I have a visitor I had to pay an extra 10$ everyday and when I tried to pay her she said she didn't want my debit card just cash. But she was fast to take my debit card when it was time to pay for the room, but not for the ten dollar extra charge. Doesn't take a genius to figure out what she's up too. Then she screamed at me and cut me off every time I called her from work to try to explain I could have cash for her the following morning. Instead she continued to cut me off and scream to stop bothering her saying that she would have the police waiting for me and she was kicking me out and I would be loosing the money for the last three nights I had left. This was all because she didn't want to charge my card for the two nights my boyfriend stayed but wanted cash. Yeah! I'm serious, this really is what happend. Hard to believe? Not really, not these days. I've stayed at pretty much every hotel in the yuba area and this was the one I never tried. I wish I didn't. I know the best place to stay ANSI shouldn't have looked any farther. Anyways for all of you knew to the area and in need of a nice peaceful stay .. Go to my favorite place Lexington inn. It's on hwy 99 as soon as you enter yuba comming from Sacramento. You'll love it, it's priced just as cheap but worth way more. The service is outstanding the management is very friendly and welcoming, the rooms are super clean and comfey and you can get as many clean towels as you want. So there you go, this is a honest and real life experience , I've never complained before but this woman deserves this and people don't deserve this. Oh and almost forgot the beds are so thin and old it hurts to sleep on them, I had to put a foam like padding on top bc it hurt my back so much just to sleep one night in the...
Read moreI dropped my friend off here last night. It was ridiculous from the start. First off, I'm sure it didn't help that I was dressed up as some sort of princess for Halloween and they may have worried I was a 'lady of the night' or some such thing, but the first thing the owner said was that if I was staying the night as well, it would be an extra charge.
I've never heard of charging by the person. You buy the room...you don't pay per person. In any case, I helped him carry his stuff up and then we watched some tv before I left. I was there maybe an hour. Right as I was about to head home, the front desk (the owner's wife this time) called the room and accused me of staying the night and of taking my dog up to the room (he was happily sleeping in his bed in the warm car, perfectly visible if she wanted to snoop), insisted that he pay extra for me being there and then hung up on him when he tried to reassure her I was leaving.
Besides all that nonsense, the sheets had small red stains and black hair on them, the comforter had a green stain and discolorations, the small 'kitchenette' which was in fact a "stoveinkerator" looked like it had been there for centuries. I forgave the kitchenette because I know it's hard in this economy to replace certain items and I have a business myself, however there is simply no excuse for not keeping things as clean as you can, at least.
There was a second mini fridge since the kitchenette's didn't work or was at least turned off, both of the fridges were dirty as well as the microwave.
There was an opening in the ceiling that had been covered from the attic side with a board.
There WAS soap on the sink. Score. I didn't see any towels but I assume they were somewhere.
This morning when he checked out, they refused to give him back the $5 room key deposit for returning it safely and would not apologize for the harassment the night before even though he mentioned it...
Read moreNot a good stay overall. Very uncomfortable. Was told there was no deposit and then that changed while I was paying to 50 cash, then took that back? Paid for week upfront. Had a very uncomfortable stay. Rooms need work. Coach roaches and mold. No room service or breakfast. Owners do not know-how to take care of customers. I was confused on my check out date, legitimately thinking I had till the next day when I came back to being locked out. I would have definitely paid the 75 dollars on the spot because the next Hotel I had booked for the last week in town wasn't until the following morning and I wasn't completely packed yet. I really thought I had another night. I am not the kind of person to take advantage or try to not pay but when the owner treated me like trash and started In on how I was wasted his time and money and his wife was completely out of line and hung up on me and wouldn't even listen to me, they completely lost me as a customer. I would never stay there again. $75 dollars a night is insane for the quality. The worst motel we've stayed at by far on our vacation. After treating me the way they did in front of my son I was completely done with even staying another night and went and spent $120 at a hotel not far and it was worth it even if it was more to get some relief from the filthy place and have breakfast, no pests, and clean enough to take a bath. I will never understand how some business continue to keep going when they have such poor customer service and cleanliness. My kids were way happier and leaving there a day early...
