Executive inn — Hotel in Zanesville

I've never had a more awful experience in my life. After a large concert event housing 36,000 attendees, the campers had to leave the premises early do to the concerns from the incoming rain. This forced us all to get hotels. We booked here after the show, which ended at midnight. We had to pack up our camp and this hotel was 30 minutes away. The lady was already told we'd be arriving late. So we finally arrive and there's no one at the window. So I call and the lady working there comes out in what looks like pajamas. Shes extremely abrasive, paranoid, and seemed to not be sober (and I'm not talking about alcohol alcohol). She refused my stay saying "You booked the 16 through the 17th, it's the 17 so it's already check out." I stated yes it's the 17th at 3am, I have until 11am for check out and she replied "No you don't". She clearly was not in her right mind and refused us! She even made a comment on my appearance stating she cant let me in as there are older men who stay there?! I was in my concert attire and certainly would have loved to change and shower AND SLEEP! I'm already tired and driving there was worrisome enough. We had to drive another hour to even find another hotel...

My husband and I had a long day of traveling for business and stopped to get lunch. We drove into the parking lot at this hotel to eat lunch in the car as it was too soon for check-in time. This hotel was less expensive than the Quality Inn next door so we had planned to stay but the parking lot was completely empty until some bikers drove in. We weren't even sure if the hotel was open and so I decided to read some online reviews before checking in. Fifteen minutes after we pulled in, someone came over to our car (a GMC Yukon) and told us we had to leave. I explained what we were doing and she said it didn't matter, that her manager had told her that they were fully booked and we could no longer sit in their parking lot or reserve a room. I even showed her my phone with the reviews and it didn't seem to matter. It seemed very sketchy and I would not trust this establishment. As we pulled out, the person who spoke to us was outside smoking with the bikers. ||||This was a very weird and unsettling event considering we had had the best hotel stay the prior two nights in...

I stayed a week due to work in the area and I have to say WOW it was a great place, other than the VENDING MACHINE WAS BARE. I had the pleasure of meeting this amazing woman who actually RUNS The wWole Hotel single handily, she is simply amazing, friendly, and the hardest working women I have ever met in my travels, ||I honestly don't know how in the world she does it, but she cleans rooms daily along with running the front desk and answering the phone, laundry and fixing what needs to be for guests, and makes you feel welcome like your a friend. I will definitely be staying there again when I'm in the area, so if you get the chance to stay at The Economy Inn, Zanesville Ohio I highly recommend you stay there. ||P.S.
