This was by far one of my favorite places to experience. The owners of the Headley Inn are kind, generous and helpful people. I was here at the end of June for my best friends wedding and it was gorgeous. My husband and I stayed at the B&B for 2 nights. The food that was prepared for us for breakfast was AMAZING! The owners were also able to point us in the direction of local places to visit. I'm extremely thankful that I was able to experience such a beautiful, classy and history place. Let me also say, I did have some medical issues while I was staying here at the Headly Inn and the owners were concerned and truly cared about my well being when I returned from the hospital. I thought I took more pictures but I guess I didn't. It is a beautiful place!

Nice and relaxing stay in a historic setting. Great hosts! Good food! Great places to try in Zanesville include Tom's Ice Cream Bowl, Muddy Misers and Weasel Boy Brewing. We stayed in the 'Chestnut Cabin' first built in 1777 out of American Chestnut. That fact prompted me to read up on the demise of the hardwood tree which has since become effectively extinct because of a blight introduced over 100 years ago. Work continues to revive the species...

Wonderful, quaint winery! We had a wine flight with 2 of their sweetest white wines, and we hope to see more sweet wines on the menu in the future! The charcuterie board was also amazing! We are vegetarians so we ate around the meat (a vegetarian option might be great for the future), but we thoroughly enjoyed the cheese, crackers, nuts and grapes! We will definitely be back again!

There is so much to praise about this attraction. Hope I don't leave anything out.||I had been wanting to try Headley for a long time now, and this summer's vacation finally offered the opportunity. Note: if you want to stay, make your reservation months in advance--they fill up!||Our lodging was in Chestnut Cabin. Built in Pennsylvania in 1777, this board-and-wattle house maintains its exterior, creaky floors, rough cielings--but is updated with indoor plumbing, electric heating and air conditioning, a gas fireplace, and a tempur-pedic mattress. There's a full kitchen and some housewares if you are staying for days and want to dine in. The TV is limited to broadcast channels and Netflix.||Breakfast will be brought in the morning at the hour you prefer. We got a lovely plate of bacon, scrambled eggs, toast, plus orange juice. We opted to use the coffee maker in the cabin for that necessity.||Now on to their winery business. We entered their tasting room for a before-dinner flight of their six dry varieties plus their semi-sweet Niagara. We've sampled over 100 wineries across the US, Canada, and a couple in France--these wines are impressive! Every one had a nice, clean finish. Every one had its own distinct flavor profile. Every one was balanced. Every one had a notable aroma. Here is a vintner who really knows the craft! Usually at a winery we find one or two wines that we want to take home--here we bought a case of almost the entire flight.||Note that while we were there, they were hosting a special event with over 100 guests during the first few hours--and we noticed no interruption in service. ||I cannot rate them highly enough! Everything...

It was my husband's birthday and he had always wanted to see the inside of the Headley Inn. We actually stayed in the cabin behind the Inn and we had a wonderful time! They had a plate of yummy chocolate chip cookies and 6 huge chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us when we arrived. We paid extra and ordered a dinner which was ablsolutely amazingCarrie is an excellent cook! We had filet (cooked perfectly), twice baked potatoes, glazed carrots, bread and butter and two huge pieces of chocolate cake to celebrate my hubby's birthday. We had our choice of where we could eatoutside, in the Inn or in the cabin. We chose to have our dinner in the cabin and it was so nice and cozy. The next morning they delivered our breakfast to the cabin (they asked us what time we wanted breakfast and what we liked to eat). They brought us scrambled eggs with bacon, home fries, a bowl of fresh fruit (strawberries, blueberries and pineapple), toast and orange juice plus coffee for my husband and tea for me. When we finished eating our breakfast Carrie took us on a nice tour of the Inn and told us all about the history which was very interesting! It's very obvious they love the Inn and are doing a great job of taking care of it and making new improvements all the time~they had just replaced old boards on one of the porches and were building a little foot bridge across a creek on the property. They also have a nice shelter to hold weddings and special dinners, etc. The grounds and all of the buildings are beautiful. I highly recommend you go spend a night...

My wife and I, unfortunately, had to cancel our original anniversary plans due to COVID-19 and had resigned ourselves to just settling for a little stay-cation instead. We had still batted around the idea of doing something and it wasn't until the day of our anniversary that I came across Headley Inn. They just happened to have the cabin available that night and, with very late notice, we booked with them for the night.||||We do not regret it! The cabin was lovely and the service was wonderful! It provided a great place for my wife and me to just get away and celebrate a little. The food was delivered to our door and was amazing! Because it was our anniversary, there was a card and chocolate-dipped strawberries waiting for us when we got there. We absolutely loved every minute of being there!||||While we would have had a nice little anniversary at home, despite the virus, Headley Inn provided a safe, clean, and lovely getaway that we can't wait to...
