3rd - 7/24 - So, we had another wonderful trip. This time we stayed 9 days with the entire family. It rained on our fun, but even so had a fabulous time. The kids catching fish in the ponds was epic. Then getting chased by ducks & swans for more food was belly-hurting funny.

With the waterpark so close when that sun came out you're a 5 minute golf cart ride away! The park is staffed so well felt very safe with kids swimming. We even had one of our littles learn to swim.

We're booked already for 4th 2025. Already planning our decorations. We're taking that prize home! Thank you!

Add-tl review 2nd visit 10/28-11/1 - if you want a romantic cabin - Cabin 32. What a wonderful time for our anniversary.Jacuzzi tub. Fireplace. Right on a large pond with swans & geese. It was cold but the cabin warm & cozy. We got a peek at future improvements being made. Excited for our summer family trip.

You can tell quality of a place by customer service. Customer service was outstanding. Our ac went out in our 1st cabin. We were placed in another cabin right away. We were also compensated for having to move.

Everyone we encountered was exceptionally friendly. The waterpark was a great plus! There's plenty to do without the park. The ponds are well stocked. Our toddlers enjoyed the brim fishing. Pools were lovely. It was so hot we couldn't do water bikes, but that's on bucket list! Kayaks were readily available & fun.

The kitchens in both cabins were stocked differently. If you have something you absolutely need to cook with, bring it. We've rented places before & this goes at most places though.

Only complaint is floors are dirty in cabins. We had to mop floors for crawling child. We're hot & dry here so keeping floors clean isn't easy.

We loved this place so much we're already...

These are just a few of the ADA violations we observed....

1-Bathrooms have no handrails/handles for toilets nor bathtubs. My mom stayed in a cabin by herself but couldn't shower nor bathe because there were no handrails. The toilet had no assistance bars. My sister's husband is an amputee and their bathroom was just like my mom's. My family (husband/children/grandchildren) stayed in a large 8 bedroom/8.5 bathroom cabin and there was 1 toilet in that entire 7,500 sq ft cabin with disability accommodations and that was only a toilet.

2-Entire resort is full of roots disabling people who struggle to walk. There are absolutely no smooth walkways whatsoever for guests to transition from the road or their golf carts to the cabins.

3-There are no wheelchair accessible ramps anywhere on the grounds.

4-There are no listings on the website, which is the method most people use, for disabled people to identify whether or not this resort is a good fit based off of the cabin descriptions and there are over 30 cabins!

Specifically in our cabin... --Dirty floors throughout --Faulty sofa cushions causing my grandson to hurt his head --Rebar sticking up out of the ground causing a hazardous area --Wood trim on interior post was detached leaving splintered wood and nails exposed for potential injuries --Moldy shower curtain --Moldy smell in bedroom --A/C in main part of cabin couldn't keep up with the heat --Website description of kitchen states "commercial" but only residential grade...

Was much fun, went on a youth trip. Concerns: The place where u go paddle boarding and release your kayaks and stuff the walk down thing was broken, walk slowly. Our rooms was nice and comfortable, no issues except the TV was small and it didn't come with the Roku and it had lines down the middle. Found some cool place. We went to the "beach" and the most fun we had was on the swing set, the water had a dead fish in it, coke cans, solo cups, bricks, etc in the water...service was not the friendliest, we got told he had no keys to our cabins to get in but we did and in the gift shop was pricey and the lady seemed a little off like she was crazy or something. Did I mention that I bought some animal food and it had foam from a plastic cup in it? That was very sad. The animals were cute, mostly the cows, but do they get fed? They didn't have any grass to snack on in the field. We rode golf carts most of the time and was fun, no trails. There were 3 pools I think and they were only 3ft or lower so we had no choice but to go to the beach. The water park was told to be open on I think memorial day but wasn't finished yet in July, so sad. I'd recommend going if you want to go fishing around or...

This was my fifth or sixth stay at Wildwood Resort! I was hooked after the first stay. I have made guy's fishing trips, family trips, and an anniversary trip there! Wildwood is very laid back and has a "back in the day" vibe. There are first come first served access to kayaks, pedal bikes, and pedal pontoon boats. There's also ponds with paddle and pedal options for younger children. There's a covered, lighted pier that produce good night fishing. I've stayed in cabins two, three, twelve, fourteen, and seventeen. Cabin seventeen has the best view of all I've stayed in. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Golf cart rentals make getting around the resort easy. There is a Wildwood Resort Waterpark and an rv park several camper pads directly across from the Waterpark! The camper sites have full hook-ups. All camper pads are cement slabs and all are easy to backup the camper into. The on-site store has several items they are sometime forgotten at home. If the on-site store doesn't have what you're looking for, there are grocery stores, big box stores and budget friendly stores within 10-15 minutes away.
